But is not love or she.. I think he is speaking to humanity
the "tiny words" is the empty thoughts of all the people.
He feel sad about all and realize that he needs to full him self with strength even if the strength is a mask and not real..
The intro is not emo.. is sad an spooky put you on a state of scare or paranoia but that is the key.. is the feeling of lost control
And then comes my disagreement. "tiny minds magnify my agony -> it's left me with chem. dep. for sanity" - I believe it's not like that he started to drink or use some drugs to have free mind. I think he means that he totally supressed his feelings, that he won't anymore be a fool that gives everything away for love -> He stopped to feel any love and started to think all sensibly. This idea is also supported by verse "take a breath and hide behind my bravest mask" - To supress all tears, take a breath and put a mask on sayng "I'm Mr. Feel nothing", neither sadness, sorrow, agony, neither love, nothing.
you ever lost someone close some friend? the one who feels like he/she was the lost part of you, the one who understood you, cared for you, pleased you...
the loss is not bearable on itself but what it pains you the most is someone talking about her with his tiny mind...someone judging what he doesent understand nor he can feel.
putting all of this together the sadness,the agony,the pain and the dead makes you want to escape thems reality and enter her dreams your sanctuary .....numbness....floating above all things escaping time.
the only solution left is suicid or drugs .

The intro reminds me of the intro of the song from "Requiem For A Dream"... Those four notes who got repeated, I wonder if they are really the same as in that song...
However, the rest of the song is just great...it's actually referring to any depressing situation, the kind of situation when you feel you've literally lost control of your life and the way its led.
