Learn to say the same thing
Let us hold fast to sayin' the same thing
I hope all is well with you
I wish the best for you
When no one is around love will always love you

Learn to say the same thing
What defeats people is a double confession
One time they will confess one thing
And the next they will confess something else
Talk to them they will say

Learn to say the same thing
Let us hold fast to saying the same thing
Never give up no never give up
If you're looking for something easy
You might as well give it up
Never give up no never give up
If you're looking for something easy
You might as well give it up

One time they will confess one thing
And the next they will confess the next
Talk to them they will say

Learn to say the same thing
Let us hold fast to saying the same thing

General Comment:To me, it seems that its about people lying about who they are in order to stay with each other. They have great love for each other but in that they lost themselves. And coming clean about everything destroys that life they built for themselves.

General Comment:Personally, I think it's about fully communicating the full complexities of who you are. When your time for input comes up for a response to direction A, it is easy to share a summarized opinion specialized for that moment. Your input may be different when summarized for direction B, though. The meanings of both input could seem completely contradictory to outsiders and will lead to your ostracization.
This song is tough to read into, though. For instance, I have no idea how the first verse correlates with the rest. So I'm probably wrong. I really want to know the meaning to this, though. =/

General Comment:in my eyes this song is about people losing themselves
and just saying what whoever theyre talking to would want them to.
    exhaustion turning them mindless.
and the double confessions are because
they have learned to say what someone wants to hear.
they play friends to whomever is there.
    which causes contridictions.

General Comment:Honesty, truth and beauty. Being true, no matter what the cost. The lyrics seem to be almost advice to somebody who has forgotten who they are, or more so chosen to ignore it.
"When no-one is around, love will always love you."
Losing the ones around you and not giving a damn because you know you were being true to yourself.
"never give up, no never give up
if you're looking for something easy
you might as well give it up"
Again, truth is not always convenient, but if you always take what is most easy to obtain then you might as well just take the even easier route of giving up.

General Comment:I think this song is about people who's dishonest with themselves and others... How that finally makes them fall down in life.

General Comment:maybe its about learning to really be true to what you feel and think instead of fooling yourself into feeling and thinking what you think others want you to... maybe?

its an insanely beautiful song and an insane topic

General Comment:I think this song is about how some people say more than one thing instead of just only one.
