big monster
big monster lover
a bigger pusher over
stands alone in most walks of life
walks alone in most walks in life
see you looking through me
like you've unzipped the zipper
you hold the big picture so well
can't you see we're that we're going to hell
couldn't park that fucking car
couldn't part from you
saw the back of your sweet mother's head
now I know that she thinks I'm dead
burnt flavor
you hold the big picture so well
can't you see we're that we're going to hell
big monster lover
a bigger pusher over
stands alone in most walks of life
walks alone in most walks in life
big monster lover
a bigger pusher over
stands alone in most walks of life
walks alone in most walks in life
see you looking through me
like you've unzipped the zipper
you hold the big picture so well
can't you see we're that we're going to hell
couldn't park that fucking car
couldn't part from you
saw the back of your sweet mother's head
now I know that she thinks I'm dead
burnt flavor
you hold the big picture so well
can't you see we're that we're going to hell
big monster lover
a bigger pusher over
stands alone in most walks of life
walks alone in most walks in life

but everytime I hear this song, I think of someone who has a friend who's a bit of a daredevil - "Big monster lover."
And then maybe the friend is under the influence of drugs or alcohol - "See you looking through me like you've unzipped the zipper... can't you see we're going to hell,"
and then trying to drive while still under the influence with the other person in the passenger seat, which causes a car accident which the friend does not survive - "Couldn't park that fucking car, couldn't part from you."
At some point in time, the friend's mother finds them and seeing the severity of the injuries thinks both people are dead - "Saw the back of your sweet mother's head, now I know that she thinks I am dead."
I don't know. Maybe I came up with that interpretation because one of my good friends in high school died in a car accident because she was drunk.
Still, my favorite song from Moon Pix.
"couldn't park that fucking car" -- how perfect is the sense of frustration in that line?
