I'm not insane, I'm not bummed out
I got no one to blame, nothing to change
I got no evil to fight

One thing's for sure, I'm all outta angst
Society don't bother me
And there's something wrong with that

So I'm off to Pakistan, learn the laws of Islam
Fundamentalism, forget that rock-n-roll
No cigarette, no drink, in fact
It's difficult to think about getting laid
When you don't even get to see her face
I'm not insane

I'm not insane, I'm not liquored
I got nothin' to do, nothin' to lose
I got no place to call home
One thing's for sure, I'm all outta angst
Society don't bother me, there's something wrong with that

Next stop Mongolia
Don't get to golf or fuck or bowl with 'ya
Throw out that handicap
No stepping out, till spring, in fact it's
Difficult to sing when it's 20 below
And that's during the day
I'm not insane

My Interpretation:in order to really understand this song, you need to understand teen angst and what it means to punk rock. punk is fueled by angst and anger. being pissed off at the system and fighting what you think is evil. usually punk rockers reach a point where they're "all outta angst" and just don't want to be punks anymore. everyone gets tired of fighting eventually. he's saying how he doesn't want to fight anymore. society doesn't piss him off or fill him with rage anymore, and that feels weird and wrong to him. He's thinking about leaving for some place far away that will completely help him reformat himself. He could go to the middle east and never live like that again or elsewhere.

General Comment:I think he's describing boredom. There's nothing to fight about & it's boring. So bored, in fact, he'd go to Pakistan or Mongolia just for something interesting to happen if he wouldn't have to give up the things he loves so much. This song is pre 9/11 & Bush. Bush definitely gave Fat Mike something to talk shit about a few years later.

General Comment:"OBVIOUSLY this song is about being pregnant."

Bullshit. It's about suicide, drugs, and cock like every other song out there.

General Comment:I with Rainy, the song's about how the thing's that get complained about in North America are in a totally different league than other countries (He only used Pakistan and Mongolia as examples, there's oodles more that he could've picked from). You thnk life is tough in the USA? Try these places...

General Comment:naytch nailed it. Also, I don't think that he's content with how the US is, just that he's tired of complaining about it over and over again when there are worse places to live. Though I don't think pakistan or mongolia were the best choices since I could think of worse places but that's beside the point.
