  My Interpretation:To me it's a dual meaning song, on the one hand wanting a relationship with a person, but being unable to get through to them or respond... on the other, wanting to believe in God, and doing everything the writer perceives that God wants, but getting nothing back... standing on the edge of the cliff and screaming into the void, 'Come on then, where are you? Say *something*'

  General Comment:Amongst friends, but all alone...that line is awesome. I could listen to this song for days! I agree that this song is pretty solid...James altogether is highly underrated. I had to add my two cents since there are not enough comments on this song.

  General Comment:Wanting someone to open up to you, as you have to them. It's such a beautiful song, I can't believe there are so few comments. I sort of think James haven't got the recognition they deserve from some age groups, but that can also be nice, since they can be my little band :) No one else at school has even heard much James but they're my favourite band, even more than Oasis and R.E.M. Actucally, James and R.E.M. are both my faves!
