    General Comment:The harmonica in this song freaking ROCKS.

    It's very evocative of a beguiling woman... here are my favorite lines-

    "Like a cheap distraction from a new affair"

    "Stripped to the beat, but her clothes stay on"

    And I adore the term "suicide blonde" and now use it in everyday speech.

    General Comment:I was a technician for INXS back in the 80's. This song is about Huchence girlfriend who was acting in a movie and needed to dye her hair blond. She made the comment that "they want to make me a suicide blond" so he took those lines and created the hit. Too bad he died soon after....

    General Comment:You guys are all wrong. The song is about HIV/AIDS. The suicide blonde is a really attactive blonde-haired women with HIV. She is hard to resist but sleeping with her is suicide.

    General Comment:On March 5, 2007 Michael Hutchence's brother attempted to auction off a racy fax sent from Michael to Kylie Minogue. Supposedly lyrics from this song were included.
