I used to be totally against abortion and had the same opinion as many of you, that abortion is murder.
But my opinion changed completely when i came to understand the other side of the story - what about girls who have been raped? Assaulted? Should they have to bear the consequences of such wrong acts? They never chose to fall pregnant.
There is even people who have safe sex - responsible use of contraception who fall pregnant unintentionally and chose to have an abortion or else they will bring shame to their families. This can come within cultural and religious circles.
Wouldn't it be worse to go through with an unplanned pregnancy and raise a child when you are in a stage of life where you can't afford it? That would deprive the child of a proper up-bringing, and in some extreme cases, it would be more humane to have saved the child of that hardship via abortion.
And with that, i think we should not put such prejudice on the act of abortion.
It makes people who have HAD to do it feel that they can't talk to anyone.

it is totally up to the woman and it is NOONE else's business.
having a baby is a very big thing, and it affects a whole lot of people, not just the mother. and it affects their whole lives! so if a 15 yr wants an abortion bc she doesnt know how she could possibly support a child at ehr age, and she wants a future. than i think its fair enough if she wants to abort it. i would much rather her live her life than something not even born.

and the reason i came here is to say, i think p.o.d are very brave for singing this song. although i do not agree with them publically telling people its murder. it still takes a lot of courage.
its ok to think what you think bout the matter, but you cant accuse it or use it against others who dont have the same beliefs as you.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Stating it doesn't mean your shoving it down somebody's throat. It just simply means you are trying to let them see the light from a different point. Whether they choose to believe or not is their choice.
Pro-choice or pro-life, you gotta admit P.O.D is pretty brave and bold to just come out plainly and say this message...alot of bands don't do that for the simple fact that they don't want to loose fans and I'm sure their could also be other reasons.
I have to admit though, when I first read the title of the song even befroe listening to it, I was pretty taken. As for the meanings it's pretty obvious they are letting people know how they feel about bortion and that they are PRO LIFE

I wish it stayed that way. Not only are the lyrics terrible, so is the message.
No one has to right to tell someone else what to do with their bodies. If they want an abortion they have the right to do it.
To all those bible preaching people out there. Please do not talk unless you have solid evidence to back up your statements. There is absolutely no proof to your claims of a god. Please stay quiet and stop pushing your beliefs on other people. It's disgusting. You can have your faith but when you try to push that faith on someone that crosses the line. Keep it to yourself. Educate yourself.
This song lowered P.O.D. on my ranks. Relient K will always be the best Christian band. They are actually the best thing to come from the religion.
