  General Comment:It's about Jesus, isn't it? The flame in his heart is the Spirit of God in him. Unconditional love is refering to how God loved us while we were still sinners. Knowing his creator from "up above" makes his life complete. "Before you I was blind" - spiritually blind, as in Amazing Grace. Now he's going to live for Christ every day. Luke 9:23 "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me."

  This song is so fitting for me and my first love who I have come back into contact with. And those lyrics seem to be a "second chance" at love. That the first time he didn't realize what it took to keep that love strong. Now he does... so he is saying he is going to make sure that this time he does it right...

  really is the core of the songs message. It's not enough to love someone, you have to show them that you do, every day. Never take your loved ones for granted.
