Good times for a change
See, the luck I've had
Can make a good man turn bad

So please please please
Let me, let me, let me
Let me get what I want this time

Haven't had a dream in a long time
See, the life I've had
Can make a good man bad

So for once in my life let me get what I want
Lord knows, it would be the first time
Lord knows, it would be the first time

General Comment:I heard about Muse covering this song so I checked it out and although I feel the smiths do a better job of it I feel muse really nails it very well which suprised me because Morrissey has a EXTREMELY unique voice and up until now I was convinced no one can cover the smiths without making a fool of themselves. I got to say I'm very impressed, muse is a fantastic band.

    General Comment:Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
I just downloaded this after seeing the lyrics for it on here. Never even heard it before.
Muse are THE BEST at covers. They put a twist on them that nobody else can, they are just amazing. I never thought anybody could better Creep, but they did it. I love their covers of House Of The Rising Sun, Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You, and Feeling Good... and I've just fallen for this one too. I absolutely love Matt's voice on here, it sounds so like The Smiths, yet sooo different!

General Comment:Haven't heard either versions but I refuse to believe that muse can make a smiths song any better than they did. Nobody can do that. Or can they...

    I don't know because i haven't heard it.

General Comment:yeah both the smiths and the muse version are ace but i have to say that muse put a better spin on it. they turn a sad and meloncholy song into an angry one and that is great. definitely an improvement on the smiths version although i do love the smiths.

General Comment:Pretty solid cover of a fantastic song. Morrissey wrote really honest lyrics I think, about all the small things that noone else really thinks about but everyone is affected by.
