I think this song is about a man sleeping with an older, married woman. The 'pencil skirt' seems to suggest an older, more sophisticated person than she. She sleeps with him, even though she knows it's wrong, but it is the wrongness of it all that gets her lover off.

Dildo... lol... yeah, I see it! I prefer the forbidden tryst scenario though. If a girl looks under the bed while she is on it with a man though, wouldn't it provide a clear view of her girlie bits? That's what I always thought he meant with the "if you look under the bed..." lyric!

Lol. The first few lines make sense with the dildo theory but "I've kissed your mother twice, now i'm working on your dad" and "I really love it when you tell me to stop"... I don't think dildos say those things. So yeah, a sexy professional older (engaged) woman... And a man who's turned on by the whole forbidden fruit thing.♥

Yeah... a man sleeping with an older woman, whose husband may have a job that involves travelling constantly. Then she, burdened by that and lack of enthusiasm maybe, has an affair with this other man, who really enjoys the whole forbidden fruit thing and goes down hard on her ("I really love it when you tell me to stop", "Now just lie up against the wall and watch my conscience disappear") She feels a bit guilty about that and sometimes she even puts excuses to fend him off when he harasses her too much ("You can tell some lies about the good times that you've had") but they keep fucking up anyway...

It's a hell of a song, one of the sexiest things ever recorded, weren't it for the last part of "I Spy"... Jarvis' voice here is top-notch, he gives me the creeps with that fantastic delivery. And I specially dig that cheesy guitar line that gets repeated over and over between the verses.

This always brings me back to my younger days sneaky-fucking married women (for which some day I'll probably burn in hell-- I'm not at all proud of it now).

The part that resonates most with me is that he gets off on how guilty she feels that they're doing it. That, and his jealousy directed at her main squeeze: the "you can tell us some lies" part. An altogether twisted work of genius. Jarv understands this sort of thing more than most.
