0General Comment:I think it's mostly about reification and conceptualization (not sure what those words mean, but one of them might be right) and the confusion they cause. A lot of the song is describing someone trying to represent things in abstract ways through language, signs, art, names, clock time, etc. and he's having some difficulty because it seems kind of senseless and pointless. He says, "It would be so easy to see if I could be there now, right now" because if experience was direct and there wasn't as much separation everything would be a lot clearer and more straightforward. Am I wrong? Probably.
