    General Comment:I really want to know what this means:

    Blue blue is the sun
    Brown brown is the sky
    Green green of her eyes
    A million miles a million miles

    My take is: A million miles means, a million miles from being sober - in a different world.
    Being high he is underground so to speak, so the brown is ground level. He is so far down that the 'sky' is the ground thus its brown. Blue is the sky and the sun is a million miles away. Shit I dont know. What does everybody else think?

    My Interpretation:Context---the way the song starts as well as the video...is like that instant high of heroin...so right away you know he's shooting up and getting high. To get low, as said before is to shoot heroin. Let the river flow refers to letting it course through your veins etc etc. It's a duality of meaning in the song though and I believe they did it purposely: girl/love and drug/love. Comparing being with the girl to the drug high...and talking about the drug high itself.

    My Interpretation:i feel like its the drug itself talking asking him if he wants to go down:
    "Hey, don't you wanna go down
    Like some junkie cosmonaut
    A million miles below their feet
    A million miles, a million miles"

    and he tries the drug realizes how much he loves it and says back:
    "I'll be with you girl
    Like being low
    Hey, hey, hey like being stone
    I'll be with you girl
    Like being low
    Hey, hey, hey like being stone"

    so the whole song is the drug convincing him to take it and then him being hooked on the drug and wanted to be with it forever.


    I could be completely wrong just my take on it.

    Song Meaning:omg its about getting high on heroin , poppies make me sleep theres one hint, take you down let the river flow refers to mainlining heroin because most users sit or lay down when they do because its an intense instant high,when he talks about the rose that knows ur name hes saying that the poppy or herion is his or her only friend and its rusting on the vine and calling from the trees hes talking about the addiction and the cravings, and when he says hey hey hey like bein stone hes not talkin about weed or being stoned! he literally means like being stone is the way he feels when hes on heroin. just want to clear that up.

    This is the high he is referring to, the inducer of this high (or low for that matter) is obviously a lover. Very, Very exceptional song in my opinion. Great mood setter.
