For me it also has its own special meaning. This song always pulls on my heart strings, because it represents the love that I lost when I was younger. Ive literally been haunted by her face in my dreams, and it seems that time never completely erases the feeling of loss I have for her. I can completely relate to the line "but if you have to leave

and it won't leave me alone" There are thousands of times that I have wished justed to be able to forget everything about her, because the memories eat at you until you almost cant take it.
There is another line that I connect closely to "your voice, it's chased away
all the sanity in me " When she was in the hospital and I was at her bedside, her last words to me were "No matter what I will always love you". Oh my God! That was a dagger in the heart, because It was like my soul was being ripped out. Its like how on earth do you even begin to go on when the love of your life has just died in your arms. Then later on you feel guilty! You feel guilty for going on with your life, for thinking about loving someone else. Its a hard thing.
