I HAVE NEVER HEARD THIS SONG BEFORE, HOW CAN I GET THE ALBUM ??? BUT I LOVE THE LYRICS. I CAN TOTALLY REALTE TO THAT GIRL IN THE BEGINNING AND I HAVE A GUY FRIEND WHO THE SECOND PART OF THE SONG WAS MADE FOR. I LOVE LINKIN PARK!!!!

Yeh , same here ... it makes me think of one word .. denial ... i know it very well ... umm for the person who wants the album ... the hybrid theory cd is out .. which has really good songs on it.. every song is my favorite ..which doesnt happen much for me... but the other songs like carousel , and one, part of me, high voltage , set up and my december i havnt seen on a cd ..but just go to winmx.com download the mp3 shaering program winmx then go to winamp.com and download the mp3 player ... and type in those names and download ... you wont regret it.. also for high volatge theres a remix .. its the rock version and it totally kicks booty.... i cant wait for this bands next album or music video ... there in my opinion the best band out .. most creative .. i hope this helps....

hey people, listen, i have gone through alot of these "linkin park songs, but dun get me wrong, linkin park is my favorite band, but you know what, carousel is not linkin park. teknically it is, but it is Hybrid Theory. as many of you may know, linkin park changed their name from hybrid theory, to the well known band today. which is one reason that linkin parks first album wasnt self titled, they just took their old band name and used it for the title of their cd.

ok..well um ya this is one of my fav lp songs..and i am a BIG lp fan..and um i saw u guyz saying that u cant find the cd and stuff..well here is some info...the hybrid theory can be bought on EBAY but its super expensive...and i guess some of you have heard of LinkinParkUnderground (LPU) and when u join u get alot of kewl linkin park shit..the EP is included and a t-shirt that was specially designed by mike shinoda...and ALOT of other cool junk...o ya and by the way u would get ur own email addie @linkinpark.com and u would get a membership card that would let u meet lp at a concert..so ya if u wanna chek this stuff out go to.... www.lpunderground.com...and all that stuff is for only $25 and if u do end up joining tell them that xxlinkin97xx@linkinpark.com reffered u if u have any questions juss email me there...

It's about addiction...you can tell. In the beginning, "she can't hide no matter how hard she tries" says she just can't quit doing drugs, and she is dependent on them. "All her friends know why she can't sleep at night" in reference to her family asking if she's okay means they know she does drugs, and they possibly even give them to her. "But can't get off the carousel Until he makes it stop" is an excellent line, demonstrating that drug addiction just goes around in a big circle.

Chester just sounds so demonic in the chorus because of the music and his ability to make his voice sound evil, innocent, harmonic, deep, or anything else he wants. This is yet another good song by Linkin Park/Hybrid Theory.

I downloaded this song on KaZaA! It rocks! (Actually, I think all of LP's songs rocks!!)

I think this is about a man and a woman's life, which is terrible. Nothing goes their way and they just can't seem to stand life.

Linkin Park was once a good underground band. But all this mainstream crap sucks. Why did the stupid pathetic teenieboppers have to like such a cool band. I know why,"Because like oh my gosh the band members are so cute." I hate all you trendy kids. Why must you take over everthing that us misfits like.

spunker3, SHUT THE HELL UP, GOOD GRACIOUS fans are fans, trust me LP appreciates them all. to the others who are looking for this one on cd, you may be able to find this album still around. but to help your lil quest, this song along with Part of Me, High Voltage...etc, were all written while they were still known under the name Hybrid Theory, that was thier original band name, the album youre looking for is the Hybrid Theory EP under the name Hybrid Theory, its self-titled. oh shit, i just typed all that, and bing thing already posted it,lol, oh well, just trying to help out. l8er

I hate that people like bands when there not that popular but as soon as they become mainstream they think that the band is ruined. Linkin Park has not released any new albums since they became so popular so their music has not changed. So it's people like that who are bad fans. I'm a teeniebopper but I don't like the band because what they look like. If I judged the band by the members looks, Linkin Park wouldn't be my favorite band. It's a sterotype that every young fan of any band is a fan because of their looks.
We're all have different maturaty levels just like adults do. It's obvious that your still in the process of maturing.
How old are you Spunker3. 17 or so. Do you think that just because your a couple of years older than some people, that that means your better than them. You were once a child. You've forgoten how no one used to take you seriously just because you we're younger and couldn't possibly see that a child could be their equal.
Well that's fucked up. People jump all over us when we discriminate based on sex or race, but when ever a person is looked down on because of their age people just don't care. I, for one, am tired of it. And I'm going to do something about it.(I just need to figure it out:))

I think the first verse is about a girl who was raped and is still tormented about it. The second verse is about a boy who is addicted to drugs. He thinks he doesn't have a problem and that he could quit if he wanted to. But he doesn't know how dependant he is. Even if he wanted to quit it would be doubly hard because his friends also have an addiction to drugs. If he got off them he would see how the drugs are slowly destroying his friends. This in itself would be enough to drive him back to taking drugs.

Those are my favorite lines in the song. It's saying that Although that the characters in this song don't want to believe that they have problems, one day their going to have to face everything. The second line is them screaming that they don't want to deal with these things because they're too weak to take a good look at themselves and see who they are. They'd rather pretend that everythigs fine, that they can handle everything.

I'm not sure about this part but I think a person who loves either of the characters is speaking to them. They are telling them try to hold on for a little while and then the'll come to rescue them and make everything better.

But they are still fooling themselves and they run away from this person who would have saved them from themselves. This person is saying that they don't know why they're running away from them when they could've helped.

Now this is one good song by Linkin Park! LP are my fave band of all time, and this song rocks. I can relate to it, because I don't know what I want, and I can't ask myself why. I don't usually tell my mum anything cos she doesn't understand, and my dad - fucks knows where he is! But anyway, I usually count on my friends to help me, which they do. I love LP so much, I think they rock, and all their songs mean something, which everyone can relate to! WELL DONE LINKIN PARK!

i love this song! I downloaded it, cause I couldnt get the CD, cause obviously its rare, or you have to join LP underground. I think the first verse is about a girl, who is like possibly depressed, and she trys to cover it up, her friends know so they know why she cant sleep but her family just asks her if she is okay, cause she seems distressed, but wont tell them, then i think the second one, is about how this guy is addicted to drugs, but he doesnt think he is addicted but he is, and even if he tried to stop it would be almost impossible cause his friends have drug problems too.
