Does your god come in a capsule,
To sedate you tear the walls down,
Headless prison cannibals chew,
To consume you bring the alien,

Halcium and morphine,
5-methoxy-n, n-dimethyltryptamine,
Psilocybin, mescaline, aspirin, histomine,
Brushite, darvaset, valium, caffeine, cannabis, and LSD,
Ayahuasca, harmine give it all to me I want it

These are just a few of my favorite things
These are just a few of my favorite things

Trisolam and zanex, serotonin, mdma, ibogaine, dopeamine,
Tetra-hydro-chloride, atenolol,
Amanita muscaria,
Boric oxide, arrabinitol, psilocin, and flamizine,
Cylotec and harmaline
Give it all to me I want it

Does your god come in a capsule to sedate you,
Tear the walls down, headless prison,
Cannibals chew to consume you,
Bring the alien

You can't kill me,
I'm already dead
Inside my hole,
Inside my head,
We just beg for any way to be sedated,
It's all about escaping,
Numb to me,
Numb body from this hell,

I can feel them pushing, I can feel them pulling
I can feel them holding, I can feel them moving,
I can feel them prying, I can feel them prodding,
I can feel them breathing, I can feel them digging
I can feel them stabbing, I can feel them scoping,
I can feel them living, I can feel it,
Consume, take in, plunging, plumbing,
Instruments prying, aliens inside me,
Tooling the machine,
Intoxicating,
Feel it unfolding, riddles in me

It's all about escaping, we just beg for any way to get away
Who do you bow down to, does your god come in a capsule or on a plate
They're trying to sedate you, swallow self and bring on the alien
You tried to kill me, I'm already dead to this world
I'm already dead to this world

General Comment:This song doesn't only mention hallucinogens, but also a number of other drug families. Actually they mention Dimethyltrypatmine twice, as ayahuasca contains DMT as the active ingredient, with an MAOI (such as harmaline.. which is also mentioned. Though harmaline does more than be an MAO-A inhibitor) All in all, a great job including everyone's drug of choice [or at least a fair representation of an analogue] and a great damn song.

This includes non-users, as dopeamine is listed, and that is a naturally occurring 'feel-good' chemical.

General Comment:To me this some is about the addiction to drugs, and escaping the way the world is now. Trying to make ourselves feel useful because its so hard to see what the point of living is with everything thats handed to us like cable, video games, and pre-packaged meat. Is almost like life was simpler when you had to grown your own shit and work your ass off to survive, rather than being stuck in the feelings of uselessness.

General Comment:All of L.D 50 is about drugs being the key to human evolution, and that its how we got to where we are from being monkeys. I think this song is about them using using drugs and then evolving even further past human life now

General Comment:Its simple, that the song is asking if the god they believe in comes in a capsule or a plate, referencing the drug useage of religions since time began. From here, it just lists all the drugs that the government wants to ban, due to the psychedelic properties, like DMT. This song is basically about the large collection of drugs the user has in order to escape. Its all about escaping to him, to be dead on the outside, but in his mind, in his own conscious, to be entirely alive and experiencing all the chemicals in his system. To all the religious people, Escapism is a method of religious experience. Indians and other religions have been taking drugs since the stone age, and its only when Christianity, among other religions on the same lines, attempted to look better than others due to the lack of drug useage, is when it becomes a candid idea. Escapism is a reality, To be alive is to be dead on the inside. The drugs described in this song all have some kind of element that livens up the experience. Like Maynard James Keenan said once. "The trick is to take the drugs once, then spend the next 10 years of your life trying to get back to that high without the drug."

General Comment:The movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas begins with the song "My Favorite Things" by the Lennon Sisters. The movie is about 2 ppl a journalist and his attorney...Tripping out the whole time on a suit case full of many many different drugs most of which this song lists...In this song they're explaining how everyone has different beliefs from shaman to Bible fearing christian...And that how we use excuses to live life without just living and not worrying about a God Or Spirituality...so forth they are saying how they are trapt in society surrounded everywhere pulling, prodding, plunging....consumed by outside voice and norms.

General Comment:One more thing FUCK adamizer.

And for airsoftking13 drugs ARE NOT bad. It's like being in The Matrix. You take the pill or you don't. Obviously you have done some drugs and found out something about what life really is. You ended up not liking it and you wish you could go back to being ignorant and never done a thing in your life. No one can ever kill my buzz but myself.
