  General Comment:Not attractive at all; just despairingly pathetic.
  
  I totally get the creeper vibe from this song. Teen angst has a lot to do with sexual frustration, but not this bad. This kid sounds like he's had a shitty life and some definite loose screws and wants to date rape. Idk about killing anyone though. I think he feels disgusted in himself for his chemical and sexual indulgences, but questions morality because he hasn't seen any good examples of morality in his upbringing. Therefore, is going to try anyway he can to get in this poor girl's pants, bless her soul.
  
  God, reminds me of a creep who totally tried to pull that stuff on me in early college. *Shudders*

  General Comment:I love this song, but, it's far more disturbing than what's been said. The subject of this song is planning on taking his father's car, raping a girl, then killing them both

  I had to listen to the song and analyze it. I'm not complaining though, it's amazing, and so are the Femmes in general.

    i'm glad someone else mentioned the whole "raping a girl" thing.
    i get the whole teen angst concept, but mine never involved rape.
    
    such a wide spectrum of song meanings from this to something like Waiting for the Bus.

  General Comment:Does anybody else find the first half of the song very disturbing and attractive at the same time? =P It's everything a parent doesn't want to hear, even when they know it's the truth. "I'm gonna get her drunk, I'm gonna make her cry"... "I'm gonna touch her all over her body." It sounds like the kid's totally cracked up... to me, anyway.

  General Comment:^ i hope you're right, i'm kinda banking on that. this song is like modest mouse's song 'the good times are killin' me' which is so true....best fuckin' years of my life. what the hell are they all talkin' about? no fuckin' freedom. i can't even choose my own religion. (which would be none, but that's just too liberal.)

  General Comment:*boing*! indeed! And I agree with the Master_deabater... You would have to be totally out of touch with the angst-filled teen in you not to realise what this song is about... The desperation of trying to 'get some' while you live with your folks... Not having a car of your own... Having to practically beg permission to have a life.... And they're supposed to be the best years of your life? SO glad I made it to my 20's, I assure you it all get's better!

  General Comment:This song is about teenage angst. If you can't figure that out from reading the lyrics, you're inept. This song is actually pretty insightful, reflecting back on my teens...dad refusing to give you the car on the night of something that is important... sexually charged frustration, etc.
