And if you save yourself
You will make him happy
He'll keep you in a jar
And you'll think you're happy
He'll give you breathing holes
And you'll think you're happy
He'll cover you with dust
And you'll think you're happy now

You're in a laundry room
You're in a laundry room
The clue that came to you, oh

And if you cut yourself
You will think you're happy
He'll keep you in a jar
Then you'll make him happy
He'll give you breathing holes
Then you'll think you're happy
He'll cover you with dust
Then you'll think you're happy now

You're in a laundry room
You're in a laundry room
The clue that came to you, oh

You're in a laundry room
You're in a laundry room
The clue that came to you, oh

And if you fool yourself
You will make him happy
He'll keep you in a jar
Then you'll think you're happy
He'll give you breathing holes
Then you will seem happy
You'll wallow in the shit
Then you'll think you're happy now

You're in a laundry room
You're in a laundry room
You're in a laundry room
The clue that came to you, oh

General Comment:please stop saying that this song is about our relationship with God. Its pretty obvious that its an absurdist view on the nature of relationships that girls tend to trap themselves in. Relationships based on pure comfort and security. When Kurt says "your in a laundry room" he means exactly that. Its almost a wake up call to the girls living these secure lifestyles. He points out how ridiculous and meaningless modern day relationships are, and begs for something more out of it all. Stop trying to idealize everything, instead realize that ALL poetry means exactly what it says... nothing more, and except the beauty in that.

General Comment:This Song final title is Sappy. Chorus Verse Chorus is a diffrent song entirely. If you look at Kurt's work enough you'll notice title changes were comon with him, Example: Marijuana=Moist Vagina, The Eagle Has Landed=Tourettes. If you read in the boxset or the Best of version it was retitled on it's release.

General Comment:this song is about life in general...
mankind itself and how god put us in a jar and 'covered us w/ grass'&'gave us brethein holes' comparing men to bugs and shit that you put in jars and how we're just like them, also comparing the world to a laundry room
all that talk about 'making him happy' or 'keeping him happy' is about organized religon and so fourth...
also talks about how easily amused we are by litil things such as 'cutting ourselves'
at least thats wat i got out of it.....

General Comment:I'm hearing the lyrics of the chorus differently: instead of "The clue that came to you," I'm hearing "Conclusion came to you."
