Lyrics for Bulls on Parade as interpreted by piesupreme

Bulls on Parade Lyrics
Come wit it now
Come wit it now

The microphone explodes, shattering the molds
Either droppin hits like de la mode or get the fuck off the commode
With the sure shot, sure to make the bodies drop
Drop and don't copy yo, don't call this a co-opt
Terror rains drenchin', quenchin' the thirst of tha power dons
That five sided fist-a-gon
Tha rotten sore on the face of mother earth gets bigger
Tha triggers cold empty your purse

Rally round the family
With a pocket full of shells
They rally round the family
With a pocket full of shells
They rally round the family
With a pocket full of shells
They rally round the family
With a pocket full of shells

Weapons not food, not homes, not shoes
Not need, just feed the war cannibal animal
I walk the corner to the rubble that used to be a library
Line up to the mind cemetery now
What we don't know keeps the contracts alive and movin'
They don't gotta burn the books they just remove 'em
While arms warehouses fill as quick as the cells
Rally round tha family
Pockets full of shells

Rally round the family
With a pocket full of shells
They rally round the family
With a pocket full of shells
They rally round the family
With a pocket full of shells
They rally round the family
With a pocket full of shells

Bulls on parade

Come wit it now
Come wit it now

Bulls on parade
Bulls on parade
Bulls on parade
Bulls on parade
Bulls on parade

'Weapons not food, not homes, not shoes'

why the fuck do countries which are already falling to pieces spend enough money to revitalise their economies on weapons of mass destruction which end up blown to peices or at the bottom of the sea?

The pockets full of shells mean that all theze muthafuckas starting war and shit like that already got them fuckin' weapons in they back pockets ready to pull that shit out on unsuspectin' niggaz. They call treyselves rallyin' round tha family, like Arafat and Sharon, not to mention Putin and them other muthafuckas is doin' Bush. But they pockets is full of shells. So what Rage iz sayin' is what ya fuckin' back, and watch they fuckin' back pockets. Dat's da muthafuckin' word, ya herd!

War, what is it good for? Nothing, according to Rage in this song. I love the beat and the lyrics really hit you hard: "get tha Fuck off tha commode Wit tha sure shot, sure ta make tha Bodies drop" Such lyrical brutality but Rage speaks it how it is in this world.

"With tha sure shot sure to make the bodies drop"(tax dollars thrown into the military to make more efficient and powerful weapons). Terror rains drenchin, quechin the thirst of the power dons that five sided fist-a-gon(pentagon, where all military tactics are put into motion, planned and executed). triggers cold empty ya purse(tax dollars taken from your back pockets for military). i walk tha corner to tha rubble that used to be a library line up to the mind cemetary(used to be a library know means a place where one could find information on anything you wanted and their saying that its been changed now its all just filled with pro-war, american propaganda novels, articles..etc) they dont gotta burn the books just remove em(similar to what i previously explained, only difference is, is that this taking about the books in schools they dont burn the books that according to the government are anti-american, pro-terrorism...bullshit like that, instead they just remove them from the curriculum cuz if they burned them, it would seem nazi-like). Arms warehouses fill as quick as the cells(americas army grows bigger as its list of poltical prisoners are getting bigger, people whose views differ from the state).
alright im done. enjoy.

Interpit how you wish, but it is clearly about the over population of the white and black bears or china...the dreaded pandas. Everyone knows that pandas must die, and thats what rage is trying to get across...Pocket full of shells... hello everyone knows pockets, as in the pockets pandas have, so we gotta shoot em down.

this song is about what happened when mexico joined nafta. the people of mexico won a hard fought war to garrantee land distribution to the poor and in order to join nafta, mexico had to re-write the part of its constitution that garanteed this land distribution. Poor families that relied on this land had to "rally round the family with a pocket full of shells" and fight once again. Led by Zapata, they choose to fight again. This is what Rage wrote the song about.

i think that the title, "Bulls on Parade" refers to people that are angry with the [U.S.?] government. I think it refers to when these people protest, or start a revolution maybe? Thats what i think.

moonbaby... i see what u r saying... but know what you are saying... Zapata died in the early 1900s... the Zapatista named themselves after him because he was a revolutionary standing up for rights... their leader is philosophy major Subcomandante Marcos... and btw, i think the song is about the US feds and thier war.. or war in general...
bulls on parade [for kamikaze84]... bull market =upwards economy.. bulls = rich people... they are talking about the rich govt. is using funds on huge war aresenals.. parade as in going crazy about it... thousands on new weapons... i.e. the bunker busters in IRaq right now.. at least thats my take...

I think that bulls on parade means the most powerful people (government) are just trampleing and running through whatever they want and not giving a shit just like a bull. Government is only so big, lets run the damn thing down before we die

I'm just guessing here, but I think the "Bulls" refers to the people in of the country and those who are put into war, which is the "parade". But not the good kinda parade like the Santa Clause parade or Thanksgiving Parade. In China (as i hear it), when a person is convicted and sentenced the death sentence, (which is many), they are first paraded out in the streets chained together to humilate them and to show the people what happens to them. After the parade, they are lined up and shot execution style and they throw away their bodies. The song doesn't relate DIRECTLY to that, but I think (AND I STRESS THE WORD "THINK"), that the government parades the troops and the people who fight for the country off into war to let them die, and suffer. The parade kills people of other countries and hurts everyone else.

"Weapons not food, not homes, not shoes
Not need, just feed tha war canibal animal"

This is refering to capitalism, as in many of their songs. Capitalism causes us to go against each other. It says that we don't need homes and shoes or anything practical, but just weapons to fight against each other and destroy each other in our greed. And that is why it is the "cannibal animal" causing us to try and destroy our own kind in our own greed, instead of helping each other out and living in peace. The war is in our capitalist societ, between our own people.

I think that this song is about conservatives. People like Rush Limbaugh, Jerry Fallwell, and others preach "family values", (rally round the family), yet they all get rich off of the labor of others (pockets full of shells). I dunno, just my take.

"They don't gotta burn tha books they just remove 'em " history books maybe. because when they burn them (the US) they think there comin clean and burying the hatchat but everone knows the past anyway so why burn a book for no reason.
"Ya eighter drop tha hits like de la o or get tha Fuck off tha commode" their kinda qouting an amy general here on how you (the troops) either start shoottin and killing or leave get the fuck outta our army, your no use.
They say "pocket full of shells" because though the US acts like this war just started its bee goin on since the 80s, but just escaladed to a massive innocents killing search and destroy piece of shit and theyve had all these weapons up their there slevves (pockets) forever waiting for for someone to attack.
The fistagon is the penta gone but they say FISTagon because the gouverment is usin it to plan attacks on poor countrys that have no defence, hence they are just beating a dead horse for natural resoures like oil and shit because it makes em feel good and strong.
"Tha rotten sore on the face of mother earth gets Bigger Tha triggers cold empty ya purse" means even though the US is conciously destroying the middle-east, when they run out of ammo (tha triggers cold) they continue to buy more (empty your purse).
