Hello, I love you, won't you tell me your name?
Hello, I love you, let me jump in your game
Hello, I love you, won't you tell me your name?
Hello, I love you, let me jump in your game
She's walking down the street
Blind to every eye she meets
Do you think you'll be the guy
To make the queen of the angels sigh?
Hello, I love you, won't you tell me your name?
Hello, I love you, let me jump in your game
Hello, I love you, won't you tell me your name?
Hello, I love you, let me jump in your game
She holds her head so high, like a statue in the sky
Her arms are wicked, and her legs are long
When she moves my brain screams out this song
Sidewalk crouches at her feet
Like a dog that begs for something sweet
Do you hope to make her see, you fool?
Do you hope to pluck this dusky jewel?
Hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello
I want you, hello, I need my baby
Hello, hello, hello, hello

General Comment:Yeah, I grew up with my dad's framed Jim Morrison poster hanging in my bathroom of all places...so the song always sounded incredibly creepy to me, but that doesn't mean it's not freaking awesome! Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's just about this girl he sees and he thinks she's hot. Not much of an other reason to me..

General Comment:Now, I ain't been able to read through every entry, so please pardon me in advance should I dismiss anyone's previous thoughts/ideas...but (!) The Queen of the Angels...HELLO! Our Lady...as in, Christ's Mother....

General Comment:If you have The Very Best Of The Doors, the first lyrics are actually nearly inaudible, but it's "Comin' atcha (at ya)!"

General Comment:umm Gregsta... I don't think the girl at your work was really a doors fan if she thinks a song about a whore is disgusting... Jim Morrison has said and done much worse... and i don't think it is about a prostitute anyway... so just saying... haha...

General Comment:The movie is not completely based on reality. He didn't walk up to Pamela or climb in her window, she came to a doors concert. That's how they met. Like a lot of other people have said, it is about a black girl who he saw walking down the street and he thought she was beautiful. I believe it was written when he was living on a rooftop. So FYI just because you've seen the movie doesn't mean you know everything about the doors. Try reading a book.

General Comment:im a big doors junkie, but i just dont understand how everyone likes this song and how it reached #1. it was a sellout to pop music and morrison was doing what the producers wanted on that album.

General Comment:Yeah, the kinks took them to court like - they stole it in a very unabashed, actually very morrison, way. Ray Davies was not happy.
