Killing in the Name Lyrics
Killing in the name of

Some of those that work forces are the same that burn crosses
Some of those that work forces are the same that burn crosses
Some of those that work forces are the same that burn crosses
Some of those that work forces are the same that burn crosses

Killing in the name of
Killing in the name of

And now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya
But now you do what they told ya
Well now you do what they told ya

Those who died are justified, for wearing the badge, they're the chosen whites
You justify those that died by wearing the badge, they're the chosen whites
Those who died are justified, for wearing the badge, they're the chosen whites
You justify those that died by wearing the badge, they're the chosen whites

Some of those that work forces are the same that burn crosses
Some of those that work forces are the same that burn crosses
Some of those that work forces are the same that burn crosses
Some of those that work forces are the same that burn crosses

Killing in the name of
Killing in the name of

And now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya, now you're under control
And now you do what they told ya, now you're under control
And now you do what they told ya, now you're under control
And now you do what they told ya, now you're under control
And now you do what they told ya, now you're under control
And now you do what they told ya, now you're under control
And now you do what they told ya, now you're under control
And now you do what they told ya

Those who died are justified, for wearing the badge, they're the chosen whites
You justify those that died by wearing the badge, they're the chosen whites
Those who died are justified, for wearing the badge, they're the chosen whites
You justify those that died by wearing the badge, they're the chosen whites
Come on!

Yeah! Come on!

Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me
Motherfucker

ok, after reading up a bit:

"really bdm? that's kinda interesting. i always considered RATM to be anarchists, or at least super leftist and extremely anti capitalism."

anarchy is the absence of government. therefore a lack of government would mean businesses could not be owned by this non-existant government. capitalist is where business is privately owned. if someone was anti capitalist they would advocate capitalism, which would mean business was owned by a strong central government. therefore it's impossible to be both anarchistic and anti-capitalist. follow?

narcalepsy15 is a dumb ass, this has nothing to do with the song, but what the fuck do you think was wrong about bitterbrian's post?! He said that he registered so that he could clear up a big mistake, fallacy being a false notion. Who do you think you are?

I always thought it was about being asked to go to war. Think about it. It works.

i think its just about rebelling against the state and the ideals it chooses to push on you such as the anti-black thing in the 60's and present. Hence the lyric "the chosen whites".
But i do agree about the war angle

This song is about Mumia.
FACT:
The majority of the police force in the United States is white.
FACT: Black men are arrested by both black and white officer, though more white, which may be because there are more white officers in the business.
FACT:In Mumia abu Jamal's case, like told before, his brother was being beaten by a cop. The cop ended up dead. There was no proof whether Mumia did it, and there was no proof that the cop had a reason to be beating up Mumia's brother. Mumia was arrested and a seen third party was not. Mumia was publically known as a journalist and a former Black Panther. He was sentenced to death without a decent trial. He finally was released after years on death row.
FACT: White police arresting black men or women is not police brutality, but the white cop unlawfully beating Mumia's brother was. Therefore, Mumia stood up to police brutality. This song is in part about that, but just because it is doesn't mean Rage is anti-white. They are anti police brutality, which still goes on. So fuck all y'all who are talking about Rage being anti white and hating the cops....they hate the all-too-common police brutality.

I love the angriness of the song. It is probably my favorite Rage song. I also love the rebillousness of the song. Reminds me of me and my friends rebelling against pretty much the whole school of Preps and Athletes.

how dare that fucker call ratm anti-white? You ignorant, bigoted fuckhole, how the fuck can you pass a judgement on a band that you clearly know nothing about? Brad Wilk and Timmy C are both white, wanker, and ratm are the most just, angry, righteous band so fuck you.

i'd also like to say that narcalepsy15 is cool by saying that cheesepuff's ignorance is astonishing, but is a large twat for using annoying, macho cliches and clearly being a homophobic fuckhead with, i imagine, embarassing genital deformities which is why he is so bitter.
