    General Comment:I feel like the best thing about this song is how earnest they are. Brian is just so upfront about how he feels, and it's impossible not to relate with those feelings.

    There's also the amazing production, but what sticks out the most, for me, is the lyrics.

    Memory:Back in high school this was me and my boyfriend's song. We were each others first love and yearned to be older so we could spend forever together or so the fairy tale at age 16 was supposed to go! LOL

    Song Meaning:It sounds like a long distance relationship. They want each kiss to last forever because in a few hours they will be going back to their state, but if they were older than they could get married and live together and not have to worry.

    General Comment:I don't really get the sexual vibe from this song. To me, it's simply about wanting to sleep together, literally. Otherwise, why would he include waking up together? I really think he just wants to sleep with her, whether that includes sex or not.

    My Interpretation:it seems to describe a relationship. always wanting the kiss to last forever. sleeping beside each other. perfect song from the beach boys to me and from me to my girlfriend. hope she enjoys as much as i do

    General Comment:I think that the singer is a young person who wants to spend all his time with the girl he loves. However, from what I know, parents usually don't let you "say goodnight and stay together" :P So he's speculating on how nice it would be for them to be able to spend all their time together, including falling asleep.

    General Comment:This song was all about the wish that Brian had to return to his former, simpler days. Teenage years, uncomplicated romance. He was 25 years old, and was beginning to experience the affliction of paranoid-schitzophrenia. Wouldn't it be nice if things were simple again. The only way he could couch his feelings was in the framework of a teen romance.
