    General Comment:Met him at a show in Minneapolis, and must say, for all the sadness in his music he is a really upbeat and energetic guy. I chatted with him for a bit after the show and he was really nice and cool. He even signed my cast!

    Its always frightening meeting people you've idolized for so long, they could turn out to be real dicks. Luckily I can confirm that Jason truly is the captain of all things badass.

    Brilliant. By far some of the best lyrics I have heard in a long time.

    I think one of the things that makes this song so seductive is how encouraging it is. It pretty much goes through all the fun/slighly brutal points of a relationship for us in a matter of minutes. Whether that means bringing back memories of past flames, or creating a fantasy, this song rocks at imagery!

    This can be deemed a wonderfully catchy tune, or people can actually walk away from this song with a love anthem blazed into their soul.

    General Comment:You never really have to think twice if it's love, because you'll just know, deep in your bones, you know. This song's always given me the vibe of "forbidden relationship," I guess because of the dark undertones which imply that they only have one shot at being together. The girl won't admit how she feels and he realizes she won't, but he's saying that no matter what happens, she'll always have to live with him in her past. She can deny her feelings to him all she wants but she can't really deny them to herself. The whole "at friendship we failed, as lovers we didn't" seems to say to me that outside forces kept them apart, but deep down they both love each other, regardless, though they can't be together.

    I love the part about setting someone's soul on fire so that even when they leave, they'll have you with them long afterwards. It's a nice consolation when you feel forgotten or like things are beyond repair with someone.

    General Comment:masterpiece. i can hear it on repeat for days and it will still shake me. romantic. hypnotizing. i can't even begin to say how much i love this song. if i ever meet a guy and he can sing this or play this or even puts it on- i will walk away because the last guy i met who liked this song did set my heart on fire. captain badass. and i lied .. i'd probably get lost in a hot pulse- cuz all that is alright.
