    General Comment:I don't really even know what to say about this song... I think it's just about trying to be an individual, trying your best NOT to be like everyone else, but becoming an outcast in the process. It isn't long before nobody likes you, your friends aren't your friends anymore, you're alone. Even though you're not the only one, there's so many of you... You're still alone.
    That's so totally me. I just started 7th grade. And honestly, at my middle school, if you're the awkward girl that dresses in all black all the time, the girl who writes Hanson on her hand, who basically writes whatever she can wherever she can whenever she can... And the one who tries her hardest to rebel against everything that almost everything else is trying so hard to be... Nobody's gonna like you. That's just how it works here.
    But anyway, this song is just truly amazing! I don't care what anyone else says about it or about the fact that it's by Hanson. HANSON IS EFFIN AMAZING!!! I'm joined a club at school that helps put together all the assemblies and one of them (for December I think)) is about not fitting in and feeling kinda depressed or overwhelmed with certain things... I'm trying SO HARD to get them to use this song in the slideshow!

    General Comment:This song takes me back to my high school days, 8th standard to be precise. I love Taylor's voice, there's something hauntingly beautiful about the vocals & the instruments on this song. Hanson will always forever remind me of this girl from high school. I havent seen her in ages but like the song she just stays with me for some reason. Amazing song!!

    General Comment:When I was 7 years old I absolutely LOVED Hanson. They were actually my first concert and I remember telling my mom and dad before we went in that my sister and I were going to love Hanson forever. After 3 Car Garage I think I stopped listening to them and moved onto NSYNC, then Linkin Park, and now Marilyn Manson. 13 years later my brother and I brought up this song so I decided to listen to it. I forgot how amazing it is. Anyways, I agree to quite a few people, the fact that life is just weird, and that most people had to have felt like they didn't fit in at some point in their life. I know I sure did, I was an outsider.

    But seriously, I always thought this song was about finding your own individuality.. Not really being strange.

    I'm with you there, I have been a Hanson fan since 1997 and Weird is my all time favourite song, and I flew to New York (from the UK) and saw Hanson twice in 2005 and they sang Weird and I cried and cried and cried because I have never seen them sing that live before!!

    But this song is just so amazing, it really is for anyone who just doesnt feel like the fit in, anyone can relate to this song

    General Comment:this song is just amazing, especially considering how young they were when they wrote this song. those kids were wise beyond their years, that's for sure. I just love the line "when you live in a cookie cutter world, if you're different you can't win" - it's so simple but so perfect. And it's true, we all feel a little bit weird sometimes.

    General Comment:the thing that amazes me about Hanson is their ability to take something that everyone feels and put it into a beautiful song. some of their music you listen to and you just go "wow, you boys are exactly right". this is my favourite song, followed closely by Breaktown.

    General Comment:I think the popularity of this song comes from the fact that we all need a bit of reassurance sometimes, that we aren't the only ones who have bad times, or who feel a bit wierd and out of place sometimes. It happens to all of us everywhere, wether you are an average mortal, or a celebrity singing on stage. Hanson obviously wrote this song during some strange times, and provide comfort to anyone listening by describing the emotional times that they go through.... that we all go through.

    General Comment:You think you are bad, i'm a 19 year old lad and i hav o say this song is legend, i first heard it at the end of the borrowers the movie, i use to hate hanson but the day after i went out and bought their album. (i no, i'm a disgrace) :-)

    I still listen to this song all the time, your man that sings it has a cool voice.
