I think the guy is looking for love in all the wrong places though. It seems to me that she is trying to manipulate him in the relationship to fit what she wants, it's a game to her, but is meaningful as love. I think they are both losing their minds because of that. She thinks she is perfect, and is trying to manipulate him for her benefit, so she can love the changed him that's playing her manipulation game of love. It's pushing him away, because she cares about herself only, or that he doesn't want to spend time with her because she's trying to manipulate him. She lost her game, so according to the video, killed herself.
It's not about another person/cheating or lust because she says so and it's not about him versus her because she says that, too. It's about her trying to change him (into at least the person she is being for him) and that never works unless the person wants to change.
At the end he's still the same person he was before and she's made herself into a saviour and saint at this point and martyred herself (which they make it a comically literal martyrdom in the video).
