And so we talked all night about the rest of our lives
Where we're gonna be when we turn 25
I keep thinking times will never change
Keep on thinking things will always be the same
But when we leave this year we won't be coming back
No more hanging out cause we're on a different track
And if you got something that you need to say
You better say it right now cause you don't have another day
Cause we're moving on and we can't slow down
These memories are playing like a film without sound
And I keep thinking of that night in June
I didn't know much of love
But it came too soon and there was me and you
And then we got real blue
Stay at home talking on the telephone
We'd get so excited, we'd get so scared
Laughing at our selves thinking life's not fair
And this is how it feels

Chorus
As we go on, we remember
All the times we had together
And as our lives change, come whatever
We will still be, friends forever

So if we get the big jobs and we make the big money
When we look back now, will our jokes still be funny?
Will we still remember everything we learned in school?
Still be trying to break every single rule
Will little brainy Bobby be the stockbroker man?
Can Heather find a job that won't interfere with her tan?
I keep, I keep thinking that it's not goodbye
Keep on thinking it's a time to fly
And this is how it feels

Repeat Chorus

La, la, la, la; yeah, yeah, yeah
La, la, la, la, we will still be friends forever

Will we think about tomorrow like we think about now?
Can we survive it out there? Can we make it somehow?
I guess I thought that this would never end
And suddenly it's like we're women and men
Will the past be a shadow that will follow us round?
Will these memories fade when I leave this town
I keep, I keep thinking that it's not goodbye
Keep on thinking it's a time to fly

Repeat Chorus (x3)

General Comment:This song was played at my fifth grade graduation and the class was asked to sing it. To be honest, I forgot about it until I downloaded it to my ipod lol. Now I can't help but hink about my graduation from the university in May.

General Comment:This song depresses me. It depresses me, not because I relate to it, but because it reminds me of things I don't want to remeamber. This song means regardless of what happens after graduation we will still be friends forever. I think this song is suppose to comfort people, or make things easier for them, before they graduate. Again, this song doesn't comfort me. It just makes me extremely depressed to the point of suicide.

General Comment:This song is really touching. I'm graduating high school this year & will be seperated from my friends that are moving & going to college while I am the one staying in my town & working for a while. This song was also played at my grade 8 graduation & I was so touched because around the time I switched schools & I didn't get to graduate with all my childhood friends I had to with a whole new crowd I didn't know. I've been so excited to graduate from high school, but now I realize I am going to miss it alot because I am so used to it. I've known this song for so long & it still touches me

General Comment:I'm not sure if this was even played at my school, but it definitely holds brings back bittersweet memories for me. I'm a Freshman in college now and ever since Spring came around this year, I've been nostalgic for high school.

General Comment:This song means so much to me, I just graduated this June and there isn't a single day when I don't think about high school.
Throughout all four years of high school I didn't really realize what I had going on at the moment but after the Graduation Ceremony, I found myself hugging my best friend in the middle of the field, looking around at all my classmates and just thinking, this is the last time we're all going to be together. It just hit me right there, that it was the most bittersweet moment I had experienced. We grew up with these people for the past four years of our lives and at that moment was our last time to be together as a class. I'm never going to forget that moment. I remember a week before, I was excited for graduation and finally leaving everything behind, but when that day came, when I was sitting in my last class and just laughing and joking with my friends I thought about how I'm never going to have these moments again.
When they played this song after graduation, I just broke down and looked at the crowds of people that were all so very proud of us, and all that was running thru my head was trying to find a way to go back four years and find myself sitting in my very first class in high school.
I'll never forget my class of 2008.

"will we think about tomorrow like we think about now, can we survive it out there? can we make it somehow?
I GUESS I THOUGHT THAT THIS WOULD NEVER END".
