This song is sooo EZ to play on Bass Guitar but I'll always love it. I especially love the eletric guitar distortion part in the middle accompanied by the Bass riff.

Ive had the guitar beat part thing stuck in my head for weeks and i never knew that it was by Green Day...In my opinion....Dookie is the best album ever..The new stuff it shit.

I agree with punkrawkdork...dookie kicks ass. I heard that the new cd is going to be composed of songs that were written dookie-era but never got released, or even b-sided, so I'm really excited about that. :-D

Grr...it's a shame people only hear of their "favorite" bands from the radio...when half the time they don't even know who sings it. paperlanterns and NihilisticFerret are right. Brain Stew, along with most of the Insomniac album, was written when Billie Joe's son was born and he was up all night as a father. Thus the name.

I completely agree with Methany!! I downloaded this song while doing methamphetamines and it described EXACTLY how I felt! I mean, c'mon, anyone that has ever done any type of sp33d would know that this song is definitely talking about the effects of it. Geez, 'fucked up and SPUN out in my room'...HELLO PEOPLE! Some people just need to feel the effects and THEN listen to this song while on them. Nuff Sed.
