This is just a good, no frills, no BS song. For those people who have nothing better to do than to waste their money gettin wasted: ). I think more people should listen to QOTSA. They're definitely underated and overlooked.

I heard that 1 song they made the video for that was on tv, something with "monster" in the title, I don't remember. But I thought it sucked and then my friend told me they're so much better then that song and told me to download this one. They're better then I thought.

Monsters in the parasol is a great song, but most people hate it thefirst time they hear it. it takes some getting used to , i guess. "Feel good..." is a brilliant song, because its so simple. the entire song is like one giant hook.

the new album "songs for the deaf" is beyond good. It makes Rated R look average (which it isn't)..

ROCK ON QOTSA!

in an interview, Josh said this song was for a social experiment, to see how people respond. a lot of radio stations didn't play this song much the song because it was supporting drugs. but anti-drug campaigns played this song at their seminars, and other stories but yeah, that's the meaning go tell all your friends.

great song, great video

it was used in a police campaign by the way

despite its simplicity, it has a number of musicians on it. rob halford even provides vocals, as he was working in the same studio at the time

I suspect that this song is an answer to critics and music peeps who call Queens a stoner rock band....theyre like oh we're stoner rock? might as well give them what they want.....I read an interview with Homme and he said he doesnt do drugs....

Its hard to convince the simpletons that QOTSA are more than a stoner band...This song doesn't help...but it is fucking awesome, and QOTSA are one of my favorite bands ever.

on songs for the deaf, if you listen to the title track, about a minute after the song ends, there's a weird version of this, with no words. it's cool.

Placebo used this song as a filler during a live set (inbetween their songs 'Taste In Men' and 'Nancy Boy') I wasn't there at that gig but my friend ripped it onto a CD for me and it rocked! Just thought you'd like that little piece of trivia. I dunno whether there are any QOTSA fans who like Placebo, but I'm one! lol Anyway, both bands rule. End of story :) (And if you don't like Placebo, you should. They rule!)

I must admit, I am somewhat puzzled by the lyrics of this song. The subject matter seems extremely vague, the message unclear. What can they be trying to say? I think I detect elements of Kierkegaard, and some evocative allusions to the closing passage of James Joyce's masterful short story 'The Dead', but beyond these trivial points the central thesis of the song escapes me.

I heard Josh Homme say this was the list of drugs he took during his Millenium party. Brilliant song though- Queens of the Stone Age are magnificent.

Well, since it's the feel good HIT of the summer, and the word "hit" is singular, i guess he's suggesting all these drugs at once?

Not sure that's such a great idea. Mixing alcohol vicodin or valium could be fine, but all three would probably be pretty bad. Alcohol and pot makes you sick pretty easily. Alcohol and cocaine makes you sick pretty easily. Cocaine and pills makes you sick pretty easily. Ecstasy + anything will pretty much kill you. You might be safer just doing one at a time.

actually, you can mix ecstasy with many other drugs and you won't die.
Ecstasy+pot=good times
Ecstasy+ketamine=also good times
Ecstasy+acid=i've heard that's great times!
