I looked out this morning and the sun was gone
Turned on some music to start my day
I lost myself in a familiar song
I closed my eyes and I slipped away
It's more than a feeling (more than a feeling)
When I hear that old song they used to play (more than a feeling)
And I begin dreaming (more than a feeling)
'Til I see Marianne walk away
I see my Marianne walkin' away
So many people have come and gone
Their faces fade as the years go by
Yet I still recall as I wander on
As clear as the sun in the summer sky
It's more than a feeling (more than a feeling)
When I hear that old song they used to play (more than a feeling)
And I begin dreaming (more than a feeling)
'Til I see Marianne walk away
I see my Marianne walkin' away
When I'm tired and thinking cold
I hide in my music, forget the day
And dream of a girl I used to know
I closed my eyes and she slipped away
She slipped away
It's more than a feeling (more than a feeling)
When I hear that old song they used to play (more than a feeling)
And I begin dreaming (more than a feeling)
'Til I see Marianne walk away

Clearly one of the greatest rock songs of all time.
Brad Delp's voice was simply untouchable. Powerful yet beautiful with an amazing range and phenomenal timbre. In my book he's the greatest rock vocalist ever.
@phantomlaw I would like to add that I think the ending of More Than a Feeling is one of the most beautifully powerful 45 seconds in the history of rock music. Delp's high note at "she slipped awaaay" is obviously famous, but the build up that follows immediately after with the one extra bar and the double-timing on the drums before hitting that famous riff one last time, with its deep warm sound while giving that extra sustain on the top note of the guitar lead, then just holding that chorus in the background to the end, is completely awesome. Sometimes it gives me goosebumps.
