God works in mysterious ways, mysterious ways
Hey, one man one goal ha, one mission
One heart one soul just one solution
One flash of light yeah, one God, One vision

One flesh one bone
One true religion
One voice one hope
One real decision
Wowowowowowo gimme one vision
Hey

No wrong no right
I'm gonna tell you there's no black and no white
No blood no stain
All we need is one world wide vision

One flesh, One bone
One true religion
One race, One hope
One real decision
Wowowowowo woh yeah oh yeah oh yeah

I had a dream
When I was young
A dream of sweet illusion
A glimpse of hope and unity
And visions of one sweet union
But a cold wind blows
And a dark rain falls
And in my heart it shows
Look what they've done to my dream, yeah

One vision
So give me your hands
Give me your hearts
I'm ready
There's only one direction
One world one nation
Yeah one vision

No hate, No fight
Just excitation
All through the night
It's a celebration
Wowowowowowo yeah
One one one one one one one
One vision hey one vision one vision one vision one vision

One flesh, One bone
One true religion
One voice, One hope
One real decision

Gimme one light, yeah
Gimme one hope, hey
Just gimme, ha
One man one man
One bar one night
One day hey hey
Just gimme gimme gimme gimme
Fried chicken vision vision vision vision vision

General Comment:This is basically the kind of song We Are The World should've been. A song promoting world peace and unity, but actually cool.

Possibly my favorite Queen song. Pity it had to come out after their "Heyday" here in the US.

General Comment:I love this song, and am positive its one big world pease message.
Thats said I remeber watching a documentry about far right political groups. There was a fascist band on it who did a horrible electronic cover of this song obviously twisting the lyrics into a rascist message about one race etc....really sad to see, jsut thought it might be an interesting point to raise.
It was sickening to see such a great song being treated like that, cos love the song especially that guitar riff, man that Brian can play hey?!

General Comment:The chicken line is there because Freddie did it as a joke because they had fried chicken for dinner. Freddie's boyfriend suggested they keep it in, so they did.

General Comment:fried chicken was probably what he would say when he had the tune but before writing the lyrics.

like mccartney with 'scrambled eggs' instead of 'yesterday'

General Comment:Yes, Roger said this was originally about Martin Luther King, and then he says what Miss Anie quoted above. Being a vegetarian, I just feel sorry for the chicken.

General Comment:My favourite Queen song! If there was one song that I would use to sum up all of Queen's fantastic work, it would just have to be this song. They all loved making this song, u can tell from the video.
