Never knew I could feel like this
Like I've never seen the sky before
Want to vanish inside your kiss
Every day I love you more and more

Listen to my heart, can you hear? It sings
Telling me to give you everything
Seasons may change, winter to spring
But I love you, until the end of time

Come what may
Come what may
I will love you
Until my dying day

Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place
Suddenly it moves with such a perfect grace
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste
It all revolves around you

And there's no mountain too high
No river too wide
Sing out this song, and I'll be there by your side
Storm clouds may gather
And stars may collide
But I love you
(I love you) until the end (until the end) of time

Come what may
Come what may
I will love you
Until my dying day
Oh, come what may
Come what may
I will love you
I will love you

Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place

Come what may
Come what may
I will love you
Until my dying day

    Song Meaning

    This song...

No, this musical film in general, it means so much to me.

The first time I saw it I was at my friend's girlfriend's house. He and his girlfriend wanted to show me this movie, so the four of us watched it and it was absolutely brilliant. Elephant Love Medley and Your Song are great, but this one triumphs. This is so perfect, it encapsulates love so incredibly well.

You never know what love feels like until you actually experience the emotion, and even though it's so wild, it's also the most natural feeling in the world. Love grows and makes life worthwhile. It's perfect.

And so, every time I hear this song (specifically, the Original Film Version from the second soundtrack), I think fondly on the endless days that I spent with who was once my biggest love. Even now, after we've parted ways and memories of her seem bitter, angry, or void of emotion altogether, I can listen to this and almost re-create what it felt like to love someone so passionately.

If you look at the lyrics.. some of the lines are actually really corny and trite "seasons may change winter to spring".. how un-creative is that? ..But then you hear it with the music.... and you think, wow.

this song just makes you realise there is more out there then you have or know, just keep searching, and the film is absolutely brilliant, if anastasia can slag off the singing she is either deaf, or just plain stupid

I agree with most of the above, its a great film n baz is such a brilliant director! ITs so colourful and just listening to the lyrics makes me think about how special the film is! Yeh the lyrics are kinda corny but it all seems to fit together and ewan n nicole make THE perfect couple. My mum even reckons she fell in love with him she thinks the cheminstry is too real lol. :D

the chemistry between them seemed very real! I think there was AWESOME acting in this movie. Some people think its crap...and maybe the plot was a little predictable but it was all okay because they added music. I like the fact that they used songs that were already made. They put a whole new meaning to them. They found songs to potray the meaning insted of writing songs to fit the movie. I dont know some people say they're bitters..I say they're great

Standing On The Edge Of Summer

In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
