One way or another, I'm gonna find ya'
I'm gonna get ya', get ya', get ya', get ya'
One way or another, I'm gonna win ya'
I'm gonna get ya', get ya' ,get ya', get ya'
One way or another, I'm gonna see ya'
I'm gonna meet ya', meet ya', meet ya', meet ya'
One day maybe next week, I'm gonna meet ya'
I'm gonna meet ya', I'll meet ya'
I will drive past your house and if the lights are all down
I'll see who's around

One way or another, I'm gonna find ya'
I'm gonna get ya', get ya', get ya', get ya'
One way or another, I'm gonna win ya'
I'll get ya', I'll get ya'
One way or another, I'm gonna see ya'
I'm gonna meet ya', meet ya', meet ya', meet ya'
One day maybe next week ,I'm gonna meet ya'
I'll meet ya' ah

And if the lights are all out I'll follow your bus downtown
See who's hangin' out
One way or another, I'm gonna lose ya'
I'm gonna give you the slip
A slip of the lip or another I'm gonna lose ya'
I'm gonna trick ya', I'll trick ya'
One way or another, I'm gonna lose ya'
I'm gonna trick ya', trick ya', trick ya', trick ya'
One way or another, I'm gonna lose ya'
I'm gonna give you the slip

I'll walk down the mall, stand over by the wall
Where I can see it all, find out who ya' call
Lead you to the supermarket checkout, some specials and rat food
Get lost in the crowd
One way or another I'm gonna get ya' (Where I can see it all, find out who ya' call)
I'll get ya', get ya', get ya', get ya'
One way or another I'm gonna get ya'(Where I can see it all, find out who ya' call)
I'll get ya', get ya', get ya', get ya'
One way or another I'm gonna get ya'(Where I can see it all, find out who ya' call)
I'll get ya', get ya', get ya', get ya'
One way or another I'm gonna get ya'
I'll get ya', get ya', get ya', get ya'

My Opinion:I wonder if this has anything to do with Deborah Harry's experience with serial killer Ted Bundy - creepy story and certainly real as she has spoken of it several times in interviews throughout her career.
Just seems to have some strange association in my mind

General Comment:At the time, much like sexual harrassment, stalking was not on the radar screen. Someone wanting to meet a hot looking guy or girl was...and still is. This was/is not a sinister song. It's an upbeat song someone would sing when he's lusting after someone and wants to be a part of her life.

General Comment:I get that she's basically a stalker and that she's obsessed blah blah but
the 3rd verse of so-the tables have turned. She's being stalked or @ least
wants to give 'them' the slip.
    LOL :)

General Comment:I think someone used a Swiffer to sweep up most of the comments and that's why there aren't more.

General Comment:I used to thought it was simply about a crush, until I finally payed attention to the lyrics.

It's definately about a stalker. It's creepy. Yet, it's still cool. I like it.

General Comment:dont think it is stalking, its toying with someones mind, cos at first shes looking for him/her then being aloof "gonna give you the slip"
