    General Comment:Wow, I SERIOUSLY misinterpreted this song! For the longest time! Here was my original interpretation:

    Singer: Guy
    Heina: Girl that guy likes
    Sancho: Guy that first guy wants to kill so he can get the girl

    General Comment:I think he actually says "I can't divine". Going back to the crystal ball reference. Also, it sounds more like a "vee" when I listen close to it.

    General Comment:The most enigmatic (and ultimately meaningful) line is "my soul will have to wait". He didn't see it coming, he got hurt and now he's set on vengeance. So, instead of using this situation to grow spiritually (like he knows he should), he's telling his soul to wait. He's instead trying to figure out how to get back at his former partner and the guy she boinked.

    General Comment:I was finishing my sophomore year in high school the first time I heard this song. I had gone to a local show, and the played this song. I decided that after that, I would give the entire "Sublime" album a listen. It was a tragedy that Bradley Nowell od'd. People will always wonder what if. Either way, this song is amazing. I love the guitar riff through out the entire song.

    General Comment:I love the song "Santeria" but the first lines PISS ME OFF SO BADLY. How, Bradley, just how in the HELL does this make ANY SENSE? :

    "Well I had a million dollars but I
    I'd spend it all"

    Should have spent less time smoking and more time learning proper tense... (I mean that light-hearted)

    UNLESS I have mistaken the lyrics somehow. But every lyric site I viewed said the same thing...

    Only thing I can think of is this "I had a million dollars but I, I'd SPENT it all"... as in I HAD SPENT IT ALL *facepalm

    General Comment:the early version of this song if no one has said it already is on rbbin the hood it is called the lincoln highway dub other than that u can say that this is one of sublime's most famous song it was never played live due the self titled album was released after bradley nowell past away so they did not start promoting these songs at shows yet but there is an instrumental version that they played once still great to hear

    Some guy ran away with his girl, he never saw it coming (cause he ain't go no crystal ball) and now he wants to kick the guys ass.

    I love the beat of this song, I can listen to it over and over.
