    General Comment:Sure, this is their most popular song ever. It's not their best by any stretch of the imagination, but I would have to say it was one of their more marketable songs, like Date Rape, which received heavy airplay as well. It's a great song, and one of their better ones, and its message is clear and profound. Lovin' is what he's got. Life is too short, so love those you have. Because you might get run over or you might get shot... Take all of your money and give it to charity. And, of course, living with Louie Dog is the only way to stay sane. All these life lessons in one song. I love Sublime, and even though sometimes their lyrics weren't the best, their songs always sounded fucking awesome, which is why they are my favorite band ever. I would have killed to have been able to hang out with them. Too bad I was only 10 when he died...

    General Comment:I checked out this song due to its cigarette reference, which is what I want whenever stressed, but it's an interesting song. The guy's down and out but he has lots of loving, which I suppose means sex rather than love. "Fuckin' and fightin' it's all the same" is the status of his life....they are both high's... both produce the same effect with neither one being more important/special than the other. Sad song, but I still like it. And I'm ready for a cigarette, even though I'm not stressed:)

    Song Meaning:I listen to "What I Got" as a final lesson to everyone from Brad. I think that it is him saying to be grateful and happy and enjoy life to the fullest. And i think that Brad would want to be especially remembered for this song. Especially after seeing the music video. Brad's last word in the song are "Lovin' It's what I got I said remember that". R.I.P. Brad.

    My Opinion:I feel so weird and young having just recently gotten into Sublime in the past year. Although, I haven't listened to them all my life I had known about them. When I first started getting into Sublime, it was a really hard part of my life and through power Bradley Nowell, Bob Marley, and Jimi Hendrix i was changed mentally and spiritually. LIVE LONG BRADLEY!!!! This song mainly contributed to my neo-state of happiness.
