She's in love with herself
She likes the dark
On her milk white neck
The Devil's mark
It's all Hallows Eve
The moon is full
Will she trick or treat
I bet she will

She's got date at midnight
With Nosferatu
Oh baby, Lilly Munster
Ain't got nothing on you
Well when I called her evil
She just laughed
And cast that spell on me
Boo Bitch Craft

Yeah you want to go out 'cause it's raining and blowing
You can't go out 'cause your roots are showing
Dye em black
Black no. 1

Little wolf skin boots
And clove cigarettes
An erotic funeral
For witch she's dressed
Her perfume smells like
Burning leaves
Everyday is Halloween

Loving you was like loving the dead

General Comment:This song is great and all, but they're better Type O songs, I'm just bummed that many people give this song the "Best TON Song" title... But.. Like so many have said... It's just making fun of goth people who think someselves so seriously dark and cool. (Shadow the Hedgehog =P )

My Interpretation:I think some people with interprations of suicide and depression don't realise how tongue in cheek Type O Negative are. I think this song is laughing at the goths who aren't serious about it, they just care about the fashion, and wish they were real goths, which i why he says you can't go out because your roots are showing, so dye them black

General Comment:Does any one know what Pete is growling in the extended version of this song? It happens at about 6:11 in the song.

    General Comment:"Her perfume smells like
    Burning Leaves"
is a reference to the scent Patchouli also known as grave dirt. You can buy it as an essential essence. Guess I'm number 3 to have this coined as my theme song despite lacking most goth traits. Though I do actually wear patchouli as a perfume, and smoke Clove Cigarettes since forever. Also a good amount of clove cigarettes (I'm told by people who are around when I'm smoking) smell like "Burning Leaves".

General Comment:Ok, since no one got this, the whole Peter Steele leading the black race thing is a Charlie Manson reference. Manson said that the song Helter Skelter was about a race war which the blacks would win. However, they wouldn't know how to lead, so Manson and his followers, having hidden in caves, would ride dune buggies into command.

    Seriously.

    And people believed him.

General Comment:oh the fakeness of some "dark" people...Steele nailed it right on. when dying your hair and keeping up your facade interfers with the things you like to do and the real world, it's time to give it up.

    Song Meaning:
I think he's taking the piss out of her a little bit, but jokingly rather than in a scathing way.

His voice in this is really thick and gypsy-like, as if he's got something caught in his throat.

    Phwoar.

He seems a bit infatuated with this bizarre facade.

    I find that quite cute.

Never thought I'd say that about Pete Steele. :P
