give me tears
give me love
let me rest
let up on
send the bored
your restless
the feedback-scarred
devotionless

you're all a part of me now
and if i fall
you're all a part of me now
in the sun
you're all a part of me now
you're all a part of me now

will love ever be enough
just in time to prove
will words ever be enough
just in time to lose

give me signs
that arrest
it could snow
and happiness
give me time
give me peace
and i will prove
my release

you're all a part of me now
and if i fall
you're all a part of me now
in the sun
you're all a part of me now
you're all a part of me now

will love ever be enough
just in time to prove
will time ever be enough
will love ever be enough

you're all a part of me now
and if i fall
you're all a part of me now
in the sun
you're all a part of me now
you're all a part of me now
you're all a part of me now
and if i fall
you're all a part of me now
in the sun
you're all a part of me now

will love ever be enough
will love ever be enough
will love ever be enough
just in time to prove

General Comment:That is a different "Sacred and Profane" song that mrgrumble is referring to. That is a song by Berlin from their 2002 album Voyeur.

Song Meaning:Terri Nunn of Berlin and Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins collaborated and wrote the song “Sacred and Profane" as a tribute to Michael Hutchence. Terri stated, “He was a very big inspiration for both Billy and me. The song is about my first experience seeing him because that changed my life. He influenced me probably more than anyone else as a performer. I became 12 years old in five minutes wanting to have sex with him. That’s all I wanted! Oh my god. Everybody did! You just wanted him. He was the epitome of rock star.”

General Comment:No it's not. His fans are a part of him in the sense that a lot of them relate to the lyrics and find meaning in them, for themselves. In a way, they share this journey with him, emotionally, because they relate. Hence why they are fans.

I'm not sure what this song is about myself. But the view that it could be a message to his fans is quite plausable. It could be about his fans, yes, or maybe the other band members? I've no idea.

General Comment:I can sort of get da77yn. The line "you're all a part of me now", could be to the fans of The Smashing Pumpkins, who have followed them through their career, loved all their songs and know all the lyrics. They understand him through them and so are a part of him in a way.

General Comment:In a way, when I listen to this I think it's to the fans of the Smashing Pumpkins, with this being the last (proper) release. It's like a message to the fans.
