I've been stuffed in your pocket for the last hundred days
When I don't get my bath I take it out on the slaves
So grease up your baby for the ball on the hill
Polish them rockets now, and swallow those pills
and sing Space Lord Mother
Huh! Uh huh
There's a car in the field now in a column of flame
With two doors to choose but only one bears your name
You've been drinking my blood well I've been licking your wounds
I'll shave off the pitch now in the scope of your tune
You'll sing Space Lord Mother
I left my throne a million miles away
I drink from your tit
I sing your blues every day
Now give me the strength
To split the world in two yeah
I ate all the rest and now I've gotta eat you
Well I sing
Built in my nightmares and using my name
You're stroking my cortex and you know I'm insane
I'm squeezed out in hump drive and drownin' in love
Encompass them all to a position above
Well I sing Space Lord Mother
I left my throne a million miles away
I drink from your tit
I sing your blues every day
Now give me the strength
To split the world in two yeah
I ate all the rest and now I've gotta eat you
Well I sing Space Lord Mother
I lost my soul when I fell to earth
My planets called me to the void of my birth
The time has come for me to kill this game
Now open wide and say my name
Space Lord Mother

General Comment:Lovecraft is awesome. For a moment, I thought you were going to tell me to look up the annoying RPG, but you're at least credible- good link back to the Mutha of all Space Lords.

All of the translations are good, although the Drug-deal and the Birth ones seem a little far to me.

I think of it as the darker side of himself singing (not sure if he even has a good side, but that's aside the point) to him. From a psychological standpoint, your sex-drive is influenced a lot by your "Id", which is the most base and primitive of your egos.

Like most of MMs songs, there are a lot of drugs going on at the same time as all of this, which means that some of the lyrics probably don't even make much sense to him anymore. Parts that stand out to me though:

"I've been stuffed in your pocket... " -- whole first verse is about things to come. 'Polish your rockets' is pretty self explanatory, and swallowing pills will definitely get you hooked up to do some dirt.

"You been drinking my blood, but I've been licking your wounds" -- he's been siphoning strength from his dark side, which is fueled in return by the damage done to his self-esteem.

"I drink from your tit... now give me the strength to split the world in two" -- he's been feeding this dark side for a long time. Now it wants him to just give it that last little shove, so it can take over and raise serious hell.

"I've ate all the rest..." this wickedness has cost him everyone else, and now it's become self destructive. His Id is going to take over and devour him entirely and for good.

Milking my nightmares... drowning in love" -- he fears the same things that his ego fears, and he uses these 'urges' as an excuse for doing wrong. Stabbing the Cortex goes back to the "blood drinking" line and idea. The part about hump-drive? Yep... sex. No matter how romantic you think you are, you're just an animal at the point of orgasm.

General Comment:I've read some really great theories. All of them could be viable. However, I like to think of one specific being when this song is playing. Considering the mythos surrounding this creature, the lyrics match almost perfectly. This song is about Cthulhu. Cthulhu is a super-giant alien god that fell to Earth with his brothers. The mythos goes on to state that Cthulhu and his brothers made humans into their slaves. Eventually, the humans revolted and locked Cthulhu in a giant vault in the ancient city of Ry'leh. A natural disaster sank the ancient city into the ocean, so now Great Cthulhu, in his ancient tomb in Ry'leh, waits... dreaming. According to prophecy, Cthulhu and his brothers (AKA The Great Old Ones) will rise with a certain alignment of the stars to once again rule the Earth. They will eat all humans, including their followers, The Cthulhu Cult. The cult will be saved for last and will be eaten as part of a ritual that will send them to Cthulhu's planet where they will be greeted with a paradise where all feelings of pleasure and pain are intensified beyond that of our mortal imaginations. For more information on the Cthulhu Mythos, read the stories by H.P. Lovecraft. They're insanely delightful. The fear he strikes into the readers' minds when describing the Great Beast is unrivaled by any other horror writer.

General Comment:This is about the race of alien overlords that wants to enslave humanity and will be coming soon. They have been grooming us for this purpose for years. Prepare to be a meaty source of food for the space lord.

General Comment:About the last two lines. "The time has come for me to kill this game Now open wide and say my name" This is interesting because it could be about the girl he's leaving the relationship with or it can be about sealing the deal with the next girl. And it's probably about both since he has no conscience and he's driven by sex. He already plans to use the new one and destroy her like the rest

General Comment:This is a song about a man that doesn't choose happy relationships. "he left this throne a million miles away" meaning he doesn't want to be treated like a king. He'd rather be used and controlled, "kept in your pocket" meaning pussy whipped. Basically he likes miserable relationships, one of which he's about to end. "There's a car in the field now in a column of flame" signifies the end of a relationship (or an action movie) "With two doors to choose but only one bears your name" meaning there is a question of whether he's going to continue the relationship or not.
Now here's why he isn't such a nice guy. "Well I'll shave off the pitch now/and the scope of your tune" He's going to shut her up /and make her words mean less to him by ending the relationship (or at least the emotional part) "Give me the strength to split the world in two now yeah, I ate all the rest and now I've gotta eat you" He's going to revive himself by killing the relationship and he doesn't care if it destroys her, in fact he needs it to destroy her to be satisfied because he stopped caring about being a good person a long time ago.
This song is extremely sexual, basically every line is sexually charged and most contain innuendo but I think taking it to literally be about child birth is taking it to a Freudian extreme. It's not a stretch to think the song is about a relationship with a woman that is a mother or that he is recreating his dysfunctional relationship with his mother (perhaps the woman who put him on the throne and he is rebelling against by being such a shit) And the song isn't literally about Satan either (though the singer is embracing the dark side so to speak)
As for the title and theme of "Space Lord" it refers to his personal alienation because he's different and his need to have things a certain way. He's finicky about relationships and wants conflicting things causing him to be restless and never having a permanent home. But the "My planets call me to the void of my birth" a reference to astrology, he's destined to be a straight guy with a high sex drive, (The pussy calls him, do I have to spell it out for you?)

Song Meaning:Back when this song was still in heavy rotation on the radio, I was driving in my car and one single line caught my ear: My planets call me to the void of my birth. I had heard the song many times before but never paid any attention to the lyrics or care what it meant. But in that moment, when I heard that one line, I realized: this song is about a guy wanting to have sex with his own mother. The entire song is a mixing of imagery of sex and motherhood with a vague science-fiction narrative. But that one line clinches it: My planets (his balls) call me to (make him lust for) the void of my birth (his mother's vagina). Space Lord Motherfucker!

My Interpretation:When i first heard it, couldn't get all the words. Heard slave and a derogetory word, thought it was a song about rascists or something.
