I dreamt of all that we could be
and all the things you couldn't see
I let you walk away from me
I guess there's nothing left to say
and it's all right

Cause you and me we got nothin'
And I'm sorry that I ever let you in
And I'm not doing this again, why
Cause you and me we got nothin'
Why, no

I felt this grow inside of me
I didn't think you'd disagree
It's not the way it should be
Will you just shut up and listen to me
It's not the way that it should be
and I'm sorry

But you and me we got nothin'
And I'm sorry that I ever let you in
And I'm not doing this again, why
Cause you and me we got nothin'
Why

I dreamt of all that we could be
And I offer no apology
but I'm sorry

"Boom"

General Comment:Wow that last part is really powerful.

"I dreamt of all that we could be
    And I offer no apology
    but I'm sorry."

    I really like that.

It's like the whole song. He's saying that he shouldn't be sorry for anything because there was nothing between them. But its sad what happened to them anyway.

It's like, I'm sorry for the enevitable.

General Comment:I think this song, like some other Dope songs, is also about boy-girl relationships. This one is about a real breaking up and the guy who is both regretting the girl's departure and blessing the fact they've broken up. Mostly towards the latter. After all, he and she got "Nothing".
