Let me take you on a trip
Around the world and back
And you won't have to move
You just sit still
Now let your mind do the walking
And let my body do the talking
Let me show you the world in my eyes
I'll take you to the highest mountain
To the depths of the deepest sea
We won't need a map, believe me
Now let my body do the moving
And let my hands do the soothing
Let me show you the world in my eyes
That's all there is
Nothing more than you can feel now
That's all there is
Let me put you on a ship
On a long, long trip
Your lips close to my lips
All the islands in the ocean
All the heaven's in the motion
Let me show you the world in my eyes
That's all there is
Nothing more than you can touch now
That's all there is
Let me show you the world in my eyes
Around the world and back
And you won't have to move
You just sit still
Now let your mind do the walking
And let my body do the talking
Let me show you the world in my eyes
I'll take you to the highest mountain

This is the effect of drug addiction: "showing the person the world through its eyes," until they become addicted. The person can go through the world through their illusions, so they are not "literally" moving through the world. It's almost a sarcastic romanticism between the drug abuser and it within itself, a close relationship that means that there is nowhere to move towards outside of the mind. It's connecting these words and tying romanticism with the literal meaning of not directly finding anything real, but just discovering reality as stimulated images. The images that are "stimulated" would be classified as (trees, skies, hills, you name it) throughout the world that are only drug-related projections. These images could be a metaphor for fake dreams and faked success that is internal and left unaccomplished while the user continues to "feast" off of these hopeful sessions. The romance between the drug and the user is what defines "dream" through the internal visions, so the user continues to feed off them. The idea of only having "internal dreams" and unaccomplished ones is enough to mean the romance between the user and the drug is sarcastic, because while they feel euphoric, they are also failing. They want to leave but can't.

Your lips close to my lips
All the islands in the ocean
Again, these lines point towards the connection between so-called romance and the idea of not truly "moving," because the user is close to the drug--"lips close to my lips." The first two lines here are theoretical statements of not only envisioning a place far away but now arriving at this place as a further consequence. (meaning the drug wants the person to actually "accomplish" these dreams but only internally.) With the progression of envisioned like-sentiments towards arrival, the romance progresses. It becomes dangerous in a sense, but the user enjoys these images and feelings. (starting to see their projected reality as actual substance). They think they have accomplished dreams and life, but in actuality, they haven't.
The line "let me show you the world in my eyes" is telling the person the whole world generally. It is a statement paramount to "please take me" that is rather persuasive in terms.
Com on guys, who's with me?
P.S - ...the world in my eyes means - let me show you how f-ing romantic I am.
