I want you now, tomorrow won't do
There's a yearning inside and it's showing through
Reach out your hands and accept my love
We've waited for too long, enough is enough
I want you now

My heart is aching, my body is burning
My hands are shaking, my head is turning
You understand it's so easy to choose
We've got time to kill, we've got nothing to lose
I want you now

And I don't mean to sound like one of the boys
That's not what I'm trying to do
I don't want to be like one of the boys
I just want you now

'Cause I've got a love, a love that won't wait
A love that is growing and it's getting late
Do you know what it means to be left this way?
When everyone's gone, the feelings they stay
I want you now

this is my favourite DM song. everything out of david's mouth is sexy."

Martin sings this song; Dave doesn't sing at all... Well, unless you count the groaning, which you can hear loudly in the foreground at the very beginning, as well as in the background throughout the entire song.

Wow, I mean, I've been in lust for a girl before, but this is off the charts! Haha. Great song by a great band. Martin Gore is a master, and of a dying breed of shy gentlemen that you just don't see around any more. This song is special because it puts the carnal act of sexual lust out in the open, and then proves this is a very normal very human desire. I like how he IS serious about it. Everyone in rock/pop has to make everything about sex oh so taboo, when in fact its a completely natural thing. I think too often men don't know how to handle bursts of sex drive. Martin L. Gore is great because he won't beat around the bush, but he will be tender about it.

I agree anything comming out of Dave's mouth is sexy. There is no voice on earth that even remotely resembles his.

Yes, Martin sings the song. And the groaning you hear at the beginning is the sound you get from accordion when no key is pushed down. So it's purely synthetic.

God, this song is sexy. Martin's voice is perfect on this one. Look at the words closely though. This song goes beyond him telling his girl how much he wants her.

It's an ultimatum. He's basically saying that if she doesn't give in, he's going to find someone else to have sex with, because the urge is too strong for him to deny.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"
