Gunter glieben glauten globen

Give it to me, baby (uh huh, uh huh)
Give it to me, baby (uh huh, uh huh)
Give it to me, baby (uh huh, uh huh)
And all the girlies say, I'm pretty fly for a white guy

Uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, cinco, seis
You know it's kind of hard just to get along today
Our subject isn't cool but he fakes it anyway
He may not have a clue and he may not have style
But everything he lacks, well, he makes up in denial

So don't debate, a player straight
You know he really doesn't get it anyway
Gonna play the field and keep it real
For you no way, for you no way
So if you don't rate, just overcompensate
At least you know you can always go on Ricki Lake
The world needs wannabes
Hey, hey, do that brand new thing

Give it to me, baby (uh huh, uh huh)
Give it to me, baby (uh huh, uh huh)
Give it to me, baby (uh huh, uh huh)
And all the girlies say, I'm pretty fly (for a white guy)

He needs some cool tunes, not just any will suffice
But they didn't have Ice Cube so he bought Vanilla Ice
Now cruising in his Pinto, he sees homies as he pass
But if he looks twice, they're gonna kick his lily ass

So don't debate, a player straight
You know he really doesn't get it anyway
Gonna play the field and keep it real
For you no way, for you no way
So if you don't rate, just overcompensate
At least you know you can always go on Ricki Lake
The world loves wannabes
Hey, hey, do that brand new thing

Now he's gettin' a tattoo, yeah, he's gettin' ink done
He asked for a 13 but they drew a 31
Friends say he's trying too hard and he's not quite hip
But in his own mind he's the, he's the dopest trip

Give it to me, baby (uh huh, uh huh)
Give it to me, baby (uh huh, uh huh)
Give it to me, baby (uh huh, uh huh)
Uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, cinco, seis

So don't debate, a player straight
You know he really doesn't get it anyway
Gonna play the field and keep it real
For you no way, for you no way
So if you don't rate, just overcompensate
At least you know you can always go on Ricki Lake
The world needs wannabes
The world loves wannabes
Let's get some more wannabees
Hey, hey, do that brand new thing

THIS SONG SO DOES NOT SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a poke at the middle-Upper class white kids, who have never been in the ghetto in their whole fucking lives, but think that listening to rap music and wearing "Ice" makes them tough. Me, I know I'm white, and I am not gonna try to act like I'm black to seem "cool". i'm not gonna listen to rap, cus rap is shit and not real music. Im gonna stay at home, play video games, and listen to rock music. If you are black, and you like rap music, fine. if you are white, and you like rap music, fine. If you are Black and you like rock music, fine. But if you don't like rap, don't listen to it and act the style just to fit in or to make yourself feel tough. be who you are. Rock On!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always thought the 13 tattoo was referencing MS-13. The tattoo of a 13 is a way for him to make it look like he's related to gangs in some way and make him 'gangster', but by getting a 31 it just makes him look even more stupid since it has no real meaning.

A pretty much universal song. Throughout history, you can guarantee there would be some guy, trying his hardest to fit in, but just not getting it.

This is a song for them.

every one says they love this song because it's funny but I love this song because of the social commentary. That's the reason I really like this album because all the songs have a purpose. This song isn't only making fun of rich white kids who act ghetto it's a commentary on anyone who gives up what they really are to follow a trend and how ridiculous they look to everyone around them.

i wish i knew why many people hate this song -- i think it is fucking hilarious, but it is the truth. there are so many fucking gangster wannabes and posers in the world today, that it is ridiculous.

i really like the line "At least you'll know you can always go on Ricki Lake"

This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
