  General Comment:Fuck I love the pumpkins version but the screaming is awsome. Anyone noticed theres no lyrics to soma and thats the song that was on the smashing pumpkins tribute cd that came out alittle while ago. But Armor for sleep covered today and did alright. Poison the well's version is better my own personal Very Biased opinion though haha
  
  oh and does anybody know if this WAS released on cd
  or just downloaded I want better quality

  General Comment:ok, clearly this is a true billy corgan sarcastic song eg. "Today is the greatest
  Day I've ever known" - meaning billys sarcasim of wanting to die. Billy wrote this song while he was in the bath he said that he could eather drown him self or get out and write a song about all of his emotions, & thats when he wrote Today.
  "Pink ribbon scars, That never forget" - basicly means when you slit your wrists, the scars turn pink. "My angel wings were bruised and restrained" - basicly says that his changed & theres noway of breaking free. Too bad this song became so mainstream, the PTW cover is good, pumpkins songs have such well written lyrics & seem to be great covers (eg. PTWs cover of Zero.) Thank you.
