Just because something you’d believed was the “ultimate”, just because it turns out it wasn’t the “ultimate”, doesn’t make it crap, or whatever the opposite of “ultimate” might be; whatever it IS is Unknown. Do you want to find out what it DOES mean? Do you not care? Will you ever know what it really is? Who knows? But that’s what it means to be alive. LIFE is the SUPERUNKNOWN. Being “alive” alReady puts you there, in the middle of the SUPERUNKNOWN.
There’s more possibilities out there than the human mind can conceive of. Go with the flow, don’t let your mind limit your hope. You gotta not believe you know everything, because you never will, nobody could ever know everything, and there’s more you will NOT know of your world, than what you will.
Also a topic: Expectation ruins possibility. We narrow our scope in life by clinging too tightly to what we KNOW, what we are familiar with. Nobody could ever possibly harness all the potential knowledge in the universe, thus we are out of touch with the universe when we believe we know all the answers before the questions are asked. It’s ego that limits us, or lack of imagination, whatever, but ya gotta learn to let go and be in the moment, because that’s all we ever truly “have”.
Or maybe, since it’s art, it’s beyond description. I’m sure it can fit a few interpretations, based on where you’re coming from...then again, that’s the problem I addressed earlier in this post ????, you’d be limiting the song’s possible meanings in “interpreting” it based upon your own experience.
