I only have one question to ask you all: Why are we talking about British models on a website where we're supposed to express our opinions on song lyrics?
Answer that for me, and I can die fulfilled.
But as for the song, I think it's one of the most moving songs I've ever heard. HIM's music does that to me, and this could very well be one of my favourite songs by HIM. And the meaning... Is rather obvious, if you ask me. Ciao!

Dude, i dont get why everyone that likes HIM hates bam, he didn't do n e thing but tell people about a band he likes. dont you do that? he just happens to have more ppl listen, yea, i hate ppl that think bam made HIM or the heartagram, or they call i a bamagram or somthing asinine like that, or if they only listen to them because he does, But i heard about HIM from bam, like wen jackass started, and i figured he was pretty cool y not see wat he listens too, so i downloaded some songs, and i was hooked by about the 3rd one, im a straight guy, but to be honest im pretty fuckin feminine, so i like this goth emo kinda stuff about love and tragedy, which is what this song is about, Romeo and Julliet is one of the most famous plays of all time, and this song portrays that story perfectly. havent you ever loved a girl so much that life without her wouldn't be a life at all? so meaningless that not exsisting would be easier for you. and havent, when you were younger, you been with a girl and it seemed like the entire world was against you, your parents, her parents, friends, adults, everyone, all you wanted was her and it seemed like everyone intended to keep you two apart. and u were only happy when u were with this person and they were in your arms, but that rarely happened and you knew the relationship would be hell because the girl was perfect and everyone tried they're hardest to tear her away from you. thats wat i think this song is about, two ppl that love each other so much that they cant bear to live without one another, and it seems death would be better.

I think the reason people hate Bam Margera is because:
A) He has almost stop existing as an individual and has become part of the whole HIM package, by associating himself with them, during every interview, to the point where, (as you touched upon) very few people ever mention HIM, without mentioning Bam Margera aswell. HIM are going the same way as CKY (the band) in the sense that they are becoming less of a band and more of a product, a product that also contains Bam Margera (If I didn't hate HIM, this would piss me off too).

B) (and this is probably more likely to piss off his fans than fans of HIM) He has gone from being a well respected skater and celebrity, to being a walking billboard, for all things 'HIM', who would probably shrivel up and die, like a slug in salt, if HIM disbanded.

and

C) (And this is probably the main reason) He has made HIM into such a huge comodity, that, where their shows used to be small, intimate affairs, HIM are now selling out larger venues, meaning that long time HIM fans are missing out on seeing them due to a lack of tickets, in favour of people who only know of HIM, through their association to Bam (the same thing is happening with Killswitch Engage, HIM fans are getting into them, because of the fact that Howard Jones is a massive HIM fan).

(aswell as reason B, here is my main reason for hating Bam Margera):
D) Due to his continued public love affair with Valo, HIM have become (undeservedly, in my oppinion) huge and for this reason, I cannot turn on the radio, without hearing another one of HIM's interchangeable 'love-metal' dirges, or opening a magazine, without seeing Valo, half naked, gurning back at me, with his stupid forced grimace.

---A question for the fans: I'm kinda new to the band and for some reason, I've seen HIM broken down as "His Infernal Majasty" and "His Internal Majesty" and was curious which was correct. Thanks to he/she who answers.----

Urgh. I got bored reading your pathetic "HIM'S A SATANIST!!!" posts, so i dont know if its ended yet, but im pissed off at a few things, so this might help...

Him arnt satanists, devil worshipers or whatever stupid bastardizations some of your more igronant users have made. And even if they were, Who really gives a shit? They're a band, They sing about stuff thats important to them, so what if they sing about death or shit? I remember telling my friend that i like Rammstein and Slayer, and he starts shouting "NAZI!!! SATANIST!!!" At me, and he's 3 years older than me. Just because they sing about something important to them doesnt mean its their beliefs. Some of you people need to grow up, and some are like 2x my age (Im 13). Dont call me stupid or ignorant for skipping most of the messages out, i got angry and bored. And to those people who are being assholes to people who dont like Him like guiffporn, Your just as bad. Just because they dont personaly like the band doesnt deprive them of adding their comments about the band and song. It doesnt say "If You Like This Band, Add Your Comments Here. Btw. If You Dont Like Em, Piss Off!!!", It says "Add Your Comments, What Does This Song Mean To You?". Yeah, I live the band, as do many of you, but that doesnt gove me the right to slag off those who dont.

Anyhoo... On a lighter note (If you can say it =S) I quite like this song... My view on it is a young couple who love eachother, are sick of the way the world's turning out, and decide to end their lives together so they're together forever. My mate said it sounded like "A ghost telling some girl to kill herself". I can see his view... Lmao

Not my favorite HIM song, but it is good. I really don't understand why people are saying they are "satanic" without reading about tham first, they just say it when they see the heartagram and their lyrics... Actually, it's kind of sad.
