ok this song, and killing loneliness are the ONLY him songs that give me the heebee-jeebees! they are so god damn awesome..anyways..i think this is a very special song like how he wants him and the girl to be together..even in death..so they put it to the test..he tries to tell her..come on..no point here on earth..we're here for not a long time..but in death we can be together..for ever

Darlings, if you dont like this song, the shut the fuck up and go fucking live your pathetic lives. For one, this is by far one of HIMs best songs and if you have to waste your life trying to convince me or anyone of us that (i quote on quote) "him is a satanic worshipper" then you need a fucking life because HIM is the best band of all time. Join Me isn't like on come and die with me oh my life is so patheric without you. this song is more than that, and if you dont have the fucking heart to see that. then your just a cold hearted fucked up person.

Oh, by the way the song is awesome! I'm not sure if I said that in the before hand. In the given metaphore sence (yes, I am a lyricist) and the unvieled word since. Of course I'm not about to up and kill myself, though ... (warning: sappyism) my love is in Canada and I'm stuck going to school in America save me save me death or money so then I and he can get on with our petit morte....

This has turned into a freaking conversation. Enough with it.

HIM isn't Satanic. The people that call HIM satanic go to church three times a week and have sex with the lights off.

The music is good. Like it or not, every member has unbelievable talent, and you can't deny that.

This song isn't, and I'm quoting a user that posted here earlier, "We love eachother, life sucks, let's kill eachother". It's both referencing towards Romeo and Juliet, and (mostly) saying how the lovers want to spend the rest of their lives with eachother.

People don't think that "join me in death" means more than killing yourself and I'm very close to exploding for it. Join me in death means you spend the rest of your life with eachother. "Till death do you part". Does nobody see a connection?.. Also, I'm tired of people defending this with "Well, doesn't "Won't you die tonight for love" mean you want to kill yourself?" NO! It's asking how far you'll go to show you're loyal to the relationship.

All you goth/emo 11 year old posers who love this band because Bam likes them, grow up. This is a great band, and it's being stereotyped with too many groups.

There's two more cents for the pile.
