Lyrics for (Don't Fear) The Reaper (Blue Oyster Cul... as interpreted by Fistan

(Don't Fear) The Reaper (Blue Oyster Cul... Lyrics
All our times have come
Here but now they're gone
Seasons don't fear the reaper
Nor do the wind, the sun or the rain
We can be like they are

Come on baby... Don't fear the Reaper
Baby take my hand... Don't fear the Reaper
We'll be able to fly... Don't fear the Reaper
Baby I'm your man...

Valentine is done
Here but now they're gone
Romeo and Juliet
Are together in eternity...
Romeo and Juliet

40,000 men and women everyday... Like Romeo and Juliet
40,000 men and women everyday... Redefine happiness
Another 40,000 coming everyday...We can be like they are

Come on baby... Don't fear the Reaper
Baby take my hand... Don't fear the Reaper
We'll be able to fly... Don't fear the Reaper
Baby I'm your man...

Love of two is one
Here but now they're gone
Came the last night of sadness
And it was clear we couldn't go on
Then the door was open and the wind appeared
The candles blew and then disappeared
The curtains flew and then he appeared
Saying don't be afraid

Come on baby... And we had no fear
And we ran to him... Then we started to fly
We looked backward and said goodbye
We had become like they are
We had taken his hand
We had become like they are

Come on baby...don't fear the reaper

I agree with toro. I am a fan of female vocals in songs like that but they should have picked someone more professional in my opinion. It is a very very good song though.

I like the girls voice in this song actually, adds an operaetic aspect to it.

You people suck. She adds lovely value to this song. Valo and whoever this chick is singing in harmony is nice and similar to the original song and after that minute of strange music she adds alot with her wailing and the soft vocals with Valo.

And as far as the song meaning goes, well check the original Blue Oyster Cult version for it's meaning. Not suicide though.

This song is about intentionally dying in order to create the eternial happiness of togetherness in love....be like romeo and juliet...die for love and be forever together and fulfilled....beautiful and brve...although a bit twisted

I agree with Arm, the Blue Oyster Cult version is better, but I still like this version. The meaning of the song is basically that two people love each other and they are afraid of 'the reaper' which basically means the consequences of their love towards one another, which is just like Romeo and Juliet which is mentioned throughout the song.

The original song, by Blue Oyster Cult is about Peter Pan, listen to it. It is simple, and easy to understand, it isnt about suicide, though it may seem like it. and BOC does do a much better job at this song

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the lyric "Take my hand/ we'll be able to fly/ baby i'm your man" I mean..... SO GREAT! The way he sings it is just...... great! Graet song!! It is a cover?? I didn't think it was a cover! Oh well.......I think that their two voices work well together. I think it is about the etarnal love (like Romeo and Juliet) thing as well. Shall have to listen to the BOC version then.

This cover is so damn awful. The band should all be punched in the face for such anal rapage of this classic. I mean, Jesus, this is just an awful, awful cover.
