Woke up depressed
I left for work
You have a good day
It's not your fault
I know it hurts

Remember, I love you, love you
Remember, I love you, love you
I love

Woke up depressed
I left for work
You have a good day
It's not my fault
I know it hurts

General Comment:this has gotta be one of the most disturbing songs ive ever heard, just because of the way he sings it. chris screeches out "remember i love you" in such an intense agonized way. especially the lines "you have a good day, its not your fault, i know it hurts" scare the hell out of me...what exactly isnt his fault that hes so guilty about? it sounds like a message from his girlfriend or whoever saying they still love him after some heinous thing hes done...its cool how they turned this into a scary emotional song from what was probably just an innocent note from kims girlfriend about something really unimportant

General Comment:In spite of the simple riff and lack of a solo, I think this is one of the most underrated Soundgarden tracks. I love the guitar sound Thayil gets on the pre-chorus section ("You have a good day!").

The way Cornell sings the lyrics, it comes off like a love song with a massive hangover, lol.

General Comment:Hiro's gf wrote a note that looked something like the lyrics(it would be too great a coincedence if this is actually what she wrote). It's rumored that she committed suicide, too, but it's only a rumor, I don't know for sure.

General Comment:I heard that same story.

Must be one of the scariest love songs around...

General Comment:The story I heard on this song was that it was a note left on the Hiro's door by his girlfriend at the time, and it happened to fit nicely with the tune. There's probably some detail I'm leaving out that makes the story more believable, but that's what I remember.
