Lyrics for Falling Again as interpreted by Fistan

Falling Again Lyrics
"The heart keep on talking with himself and he doesn't find answers."

I lay, looking at my hands
I search in these lines
I've not the answer
I'm crying and I don't know
Watching the sky
I search for an answer
I'm free, free to be
I'm not another liar
I just want to be myself...myself

And now the beat inside of me
Is a sort of a cold breeze and I've
Never any feeling inside
Ruining me...
Bring my body
Carry it into another world
I know I live...but like a stone I'm falling down

I pray, looking into the sky
I can feel this rain
Right now it's falling on me
Fly, I just want to fly
Life is all mine
Some days I cry alone,
But I know I'm not the only one
I'm here, another day is gone
I don't want to die...?
Please be there when I'll arrive, don't cry...please

Sometimes analysing the lyrics closes your mind to certain other emotions and ideas you can get from a song as beautiful as this.

I love this song, it's my absolute favorite from the CD "In A Reverie". My favorite part is when Christina sings "Fly, I just want to fly/Life is all mine/Some days I cry alone,/But I know I'm not the only one/I'm here, another day is gone/I don't want to die...?/Please be there when I'll arrive, don't cry...please". I know, long piece, but it fits together so well... The dedication at the bottom of the lyrics in the CD front makes me think it's about someone who's died, or maybe about depression.

To me this song is about being depressed and not being able to find out how to get out of it. Time is just passing you by and youre crying not able to find an answer or way out.

LaDiablo is right. I think you guys should stop downloading mp3s, purchase the cd and/or look inside the booklet and actually READ IT, where it says the song is dedicated to friend of the band who died. Also the version on the album is no where as good as the version on the earlier EP.

This song to me is about severe depression and how everyone at one point has a weakness that makes them depressed and keeps them from enjoying life, and all you feel is the end but you are forced to overcome things with time. but this song is definetly a song you can blast and self-reflect all your worries and get some kind of relief

I agree with rollman.. the song is about downloading cd's
the song to me is about downloading songs from the internet.. and when they are streaming at 128kb/s they are actually "falling again" .. and at the line where she says "Please be there when I'll arrive, don't cry...please" its when you are downloading heaps of stuff and you want to be there while the file is almost complete... if you have a different meaning pls let me know....

( and if you want to lecture ppl on downloading songs pls go to Iwannalecturepplondownloadingsongs.net stuff will be more convenient ...sheesh!!!) ..

This song is so beautiful, Cristina's voice is beautiful. I think this song is about being alone and wanting to be taken somewhere else. Or about depression. Also could be about trying to be yourself, but things or problems keep getting in your way. I mean when I listen to this song I start to cry and get depressed.....

Lacuna Coil albums are hard to find in Australia, I only managed to get my hands on the Original EP/In a reverie re-release, which doesn't have a dedication. So um... What's the dedication say.

The re-release CD is pretty cool. It's all white, but if you angle it correctly it has an orchid embossed on it XD

I think this song's about being empty and depressed at the same time, or at least that's how I feel when I hear it. The "searching these lines" is about how you're taking a step back and looking at all you've accomplished and you've been, but the meaning and reason for living is not there. So then you try to find meaning in what's beyond and the rest of the world (the sky). Since you have no pressure to conform to anything, you're free to be yourself and not a liar (hide your feelings). Then you suddenly see that you're cold because of lack of joy in life b/c of being too busy trying to find out why. This feeling ruins you. You're real, not a fake, so you're living, but the heaviness (even though you feel empty too) makes you sink from the world and all social interactions. The way "i can feel this rain right now it's falling on me" is so without feeling or care, as if you're looking at yourself so objectively. This is sort of why I think you're empty too. You want to escape and fly above your woes, but life is yours, and it won't let go just yet. "Some days I cry alone but I know I'm not the only one" shows your hidden sorrow and depression. You view life as something worthless and as wasting your time. You want to live life, but you miss them and can't wait to be dead. The last line shows that this was written for someone who died. The person is sad for your suffering, so you say "don't cry" because it makes you sadder. This song evokes similar feelings as "Hello" by Evanescence, because they're both written for dead people. These two songs are the saddest in the world. Woah, I wrote too much!

The message I get from this song is about depression and confusion following the death of a loved one. The narrarator sits in a stunned state of melancholy, staring at their hands, trying to make sense of the loss of life. They cry often, knowing that their feelings are essentially ruining and destroying them from the inside out, and struggle to be themselves again, but cannot move on with their life, and everytime they try, they 'fall' again. They think of death, and how they want to see the other person again more then anything, praying that when they, too, pass on, they'll be reuinted.
Annnnd, a great song. ^^
