I met a fox the other day
When I asked how much she cost, I had to pay
All of a sudden I brought her home
She's one hundred kilos dressed in silverchrome

She's my world, she's so rad
She's the best ride I ever had
She's my life, she's so bad
She's the best ride I ever had

When I imagine me and her
You know that I get a stand-up fur
I give her oil, I give her gas
And get her seat beneath my ass
Then the turtledoves drive away

She's secondhand, so what? She's true, she's by my side
For all I care, she's hot, she's a real good ride
When we go out, people stop and stare with jealous minds
It's OK for me, as long as they let her be...
To prevent something like a theft I got her locked around a tree

General Comment:I thought this song was about a girl for agggges, I thought it was a bit rude too but when I found out it was about a car it lost it's greatness haha.

General Comment:I think it may be about a motorcycle... and how the best relationship he's ever been in is with a lifeless peice of metal.

General Comment:"fur" of course is a shortening of "for her"

@fiascodagama - a metaphor is when you relate one thing to another to in order to suggest a similarity. As Imposing Snail said, Fox is definitely more of a double entendre/innuendo.

General Comment:Just to set the record straight for everyone who says they thought this was about a hooker. You're SUPPOSED to think it's about a hooker.

This is called an Innuendo (Or double entrede), a question or phrase that has more than one meaning. One of which is often a sexual reference.

All the ladies will tell you that us Brits do it best. The Europeans understand the mechanics but seem to prefer to watch. And the Americans try but always miss the target.

General Comment:the hooker/female is intentionally added in, you will notice that all the vespa specific words are said rather fast and hard to understand. while the words that can be confused "She's the best ride I ever had." for instance is said very clearly.

also on a side note, i love the people that think it is about a car "She's one hundred kilos dressed in silverchrome." 100 Kilo Car, come on ... 100 kilo = 220 pound for the oldies.
