Lyrics for Wonderwall as interpreted by kevin

Wonderwall Lyrics
Today is gonna be the day that they're gonna throw it back to you
By now you shoulda somehow realized what you gotta do
I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now
Back beat, the word is on the street that the fire in your heart is
out
I'm sure you've heard it all before but you never really had a doubt
I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now
And all the roads we have to walk are winding
And all the lights that lead us there are blinding
There are many things that I would like to say to you
But I don't know how
Because maybe
You're gonna be the one that saves me
And after all
You're my wonderwall
Today was gonna be the day but they'll never throw it back to you
By now you shoulda somehow realized what you're not to do
I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now
And all the roads that lead you there were winding
And all the lights that light the way are blinding
There are many things that I would like to say to you
But I don't know how
I said maybe
You're gonna be the one that saves me
And after all
You're my wonderwall
I said maybe
You're gonna be the one that saves me
And after all
You're my wonderwall
I said maybe
You're gonna be the one that saves me
You're gonna be the one that saves me
You're gonna be the one that saves me

Ok, as far as the Beatles and Oasis goes...it's not really an issue. I just want to post about the song...It's about love, as everyone has said. It's about a man/woman who has these incredibly strong feelings for a significant other and doesn't know how to express them to him/her. "Because maybe, you're gonna be the one that saves me...and after all, you're my wonderwall." This person means so much to them that they just might be the one to save them from themselves, from life, from any and all difficulties. They've both had problems. This other person, however, is their wonderwall...their sheild. Wonderwoman is like superwoman right, well the wonderwall is like a superwall...a wall to the outside world, to pain, and to all things there associated. It's beautiful. I have my wonderwall.

This song is bad ass. I thyink that the best version is from MTV unplugged because Noel wrote this song and scince he got to song it i think that it had more emotion.

this song is beyond amazing. it conveys so many emotions and feelings in the 4 minutes and 20 seconds that it is. ~i don't believe that anybody feels the way i do, about you now~ describes exactly how i feel and i think the lyrics ~because maybe you're gunna be the one that saves me~ and ~there are so many things that i would like to say to you, but i don't know how~ also describe feelings that all of us have had at some point in our lives. this a by far a wonderful wonderful song.

I was 9 when I first heard this song and everytime since then when I've been sad or down, I listen to it. It's amazing, 'Maybe it's been the one that saved me'

this song is amazing. truly a masterpiece. my exboyfriend first introduced this song to me, and i have loved it ever since. "there are so many things that i would like to say to you, but i don't know how" truly conveys that he loves this girl very much and words cannot describe his feelings.

As with most of you, this song brings back more memories than any song I can remember. I remember hearing it for the first time in 6th grade and falling in love with it as soon as I heard it. Then a year passed, and Oasis became "who?", but I was still addicted. I've loved their music ever since.

Now, I'm all about the rock/punk/alternative whatever you want to call it type of music, and if you ever met me, you'd NEVER guess that I would even consider listening to this music, but Oasis definitely brings out a different side of me. A side in which I think (or hope, lol) girls like in a guy. =o)

I believe Oasis is vastly underrated, but that definitely won't stop me from saying that Liam and Noel are easily two of the most talented musicians that I've ever listened to.

Am I the only one that notices the resemblence between the part in this song that goes "Does anybody else in here feel the way I do, about you now" and the Pink Floyd song "Vera" that says almost the same thing, in the same exact way??

Great song though, and alot of people say Liam is god, but didn't Noel write most of the songs. And Noel is an AMAZING guitar player.

a few months ago no me ex-boyfriend and i had this as our "song". like every couple has a song and this one was ours. i don't really know why we decided it or even how. i guess it was the lyrics " cuz maybe, your gunna be the one that saves me" and "I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now" well our relationship was short and now unimportant but i'll never forget the way I FELT for him when we were together when we played this song, its full of passion

THIS SONG REMINDS ME OF THIS BOOK I READ IN THE NINTH GRADE FOR ENGLISH CALSS"STAYING FAT FOR SARAH BYRNES" IT WAS ABOUT THIS BOY, ERIC, WHO IS BEST FRIENDS WITH A GIRL NAMED SARAH BYRNS, WHO HAD BURN SCARS ALL OVER HER FACE AND HANDS FROM HER FATHER SHOVING HER FACE INTO A POT OF BOILING WATER. ERIC WAS REAL FAT, AND SARAH BYRNS HAD SCARS, SO THEY WERE BOTH WERE MADE OUTCASTS AMUNG THEIR PEERS. THEY STUCK TOGETHER SO THEY WOULDNT HAVE TO BE ALONE GOING THROUGH ALL THE TEASING AND MAKING FUN BY OTHER STUDENTS IN MIDDLE SCHOOL. EVENTUALLY, ERIC JOINED THE SWIM TEAM ..... LOST A FEW POUNDS..... AND SARAH AND HIM BEGAN TO DRIFT APART.... ERIC TRIED TO EAT AS MUCH AS HE COULD TO HE AND SARAH COULD BE FRIENDS AGAIN... BUT IT JUST DIDDNT WORK......WELL WHAT I REMMEBER FROM THE BOOK IT THAT SARAH SOMEHOW END UP IN A MENTAL HOSPITAL AND DOESNT SPEAK A WORD TO ANYONE (("WORD IS ON THE STREET THAT THE FIRE IN YOUR HEART IS OUT")) TO ERIC ... SARAH WAS THE STRONGEST PERSON HED EVER KNOWN.... IN A SENSE.... HIS WONDERWALL.....BUT NOW.... HE CANT COMMUNICATE WITH HER TO TELL HER HOW HE FEELS ABOUT HER ..... ITS A GOOD BOOK ... YOU SHOULD READ IT

This song defined a relationship I had with someone, which has made listening to it bittersweet. It was by far my favorite song before this guy came around, and now, I can't listen to it without the image of him and a reminder that I messed everything up between us.

There are many Beatle references in this song...George Harrison recorded an instrumental album called "Wonderwall Music". Back beat refers to the Beatles. A movie about their early days was entitled "Back Beat". The lyric also mentions roads that are winding, a reference to the Beatles song "The Long and Winding Road".

this song is brilliant to this day...they just dont make good music like this anymore...what is a wonderwall?? it makes no sense and yet it couldnt make any more sense....completely and totally beautiful...love it...just like i love my own wonderwall, JUSTIN who i just broke up with... wonderwall is a word that is used to describe somebody so beautiful and so complete that using a commonplace word to describe them would be insufficient...a wonderwall is nothing short of God

Here's my opinion: When you are laying in bed, wondering, you tend to stare at the wall. Hence, wonderwall. Its about someone who is always interesting, someone you can always wonder about.

Its about how the guy's life is f'd up but his girl/lover is like a solid wall that is always there for him. The Noel guy just said that on vh1 anyways.

okay. it's obviously some guy singing about some girl. and the girl is having some problems in her life, and the guy's having some problems in his life, but no matter what, she's always there for him, and he just wants to thank her and wants her to know how much he appreciates her, but he hasn't the words to express himself.
VOILA!

this song is about a person who loved someone once, and they screwed it up, they had a path to follow, together, but one left the other alone, and later tried to find the the path again. but, it was too late. they are waiting for their former partner to come back to them, to save him. as for the beatle thing, who gives? if you want to talk about the beatles, go comment on their page, not oasis.
