I definitely agree with everyone who's commented on "There are many things that I would like to say to you but I don't know how." I've liked a guy for a long time, but can never find the right words to tell him. But also, I never know what to say to my best friend anymore...we've kinda grown apart...I wish I could still talk to her!

not the hugest oasis fan, but this song strikes some chord with me, something that's not totally egomaniacal and rock starry, something that goes a bit deeper. i'm not sure that i mean to say it's particularly about me and my friends, but close enough to the way that i feel about them-- that way that we shut each other our while still remaining close, the way that we can somehow keep our eyes open for each other even if we're having a fight. that's it, i think, that's why everyone needs a wall behind them.

i agree with emoezralite, this song seems to be about how he has feelings for this girl but doesnt know how to expres them to her for fear that she might not return the feelings. and he doesnt want to take the chance of losing his wonderwall since to him she's the only that could save him from himself.

This song is about not being able to act on your feelings. The girl (probably a friend of the guy) that the song is about means the world to the guy, but he's unable to express his love in fear of what may happen to their friendship if he does. I've been in the situation before and it's hard. You are afraid to say anything personal, and even more afraid of not say anything.

ok, enough about the beatles. in my opinion, this song is about how strongly this guy feels for some girl. but everything would be too complicated and it would mess things up if he told her how he felt. good song, good subject. if you have someone that is your "wonderwall" you'll understand. if you don't, then you should. everyone should have a "wonderwall" in their life. at least someone they can tell everything to. it helps a lot.

i am defiantely in love with this song. i used to listen to them all the time, so when i hear this song it brings back all the memories. i think its about the perfect person being there thorugh it all, and that person just always being there.

Oh, who cares who's better? This is Oasis' song. Either way, I heard it was about his wife.
It's a great song, once i felt this way about someone.
It reminds me of the summer of 1999 when I went to camp & 1 of my counsellors kept playing this song. I'd heard it before but didn't really know what it was and by the end of that night knew all the words and had fallen in love with the song.
Then my friend had their CD and I just love Wonderwall. I'm listening to it now.

If they think they're better than the Beatles, they're wrong b/c they sound like them and without the Beatles they'd have no 'sound' so they need to get the stick out of their ass. Other than that, I like this song.

LOVE. this song is about love. listen to your heart, it will save you. -- how about everyone stops fighting about the fuckin beatles... if you have your opinion, then you have it, but you don't have to preech why or why not they are good or bad. let everyone be.

this song def. brings back memories of 95 when it came out, i remember singing this song to some girl at the beach, she was my wonderwall and my summer fling. i wonder what happened to her? hey girls out there, if you've ever been to Oc, NJ and had a summer fling way back in like 8th grade it was me!!!! ha ha!

Oh man, the memories associated with this song are so silly. 8th grade year when it came out, my best friend insisted that it was called "wonder bra" so it became our little joke. She was my wonderbra :)

i agree! Its so great when an artist sings with such passion. I think what makes a song great is when it really means alot to the person that is singing it, if they can make you feel the song they've done they're job. Its also cool when the artist says something that many ppl can relate too, but most ppl wouldnt have been able to think of in those words themselves. I can usually define how i feel by a song. I just like the lyric, "there are many things that i would like to say to you, but i don't know how." Isn't that the point of this web-site, to look at the lyrics, not to argue about which is less shite, the Beatles or Oasis.
